Help me choose a movie to watch next! We have some comedies, some dramas... I can't wait to see what wins the poll! Happy voting!

May I also recommend these sports movies for the next poll. Coach Carter, Glory Road, We Are Marshall, and Pride.

Zachary

I'm stuck all these are so different. Have you seen Rudy???

Alex Tan

Happy Thursday, Addie. All are great choices but my vote goes for Days of Thunder (1990) with Tom Cruise & Nicole Kidman, produced by Don Simpson & Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Tony Scott, the director of Top Gun (1986). My other votes go for A League of Their Own (1992), Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004), Million Dollar Baby (2004) and Cinderella Man (2005). #MoreSportsMoviesForAddieCounts

Aldo Gonzales

How is Karate Kid not on the poll?

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 All great sports movies for this poll. My first choice went to "A League of Their Own". With my second choice being "Days of Thunder". Have a great day today! 😊

Phil Stubblefield

Sigh. "Dodgeball" is winning. With few exceptions, I find Ben Stiller comedies to be annoying rather than amusing. Unfortunately, I appear to be in the minority...

Alex Tan

I second Days of Thunder (1990). #DaysOfThunderForAddieCounts

Sydneyfox

Where are the Mighty Ducks? Best sports movie of all time 😅

Andrew Storing

I’m surprised The Karate Kid (1984) movie starring Ralph Macchio isn’t on there. I think you’d like that trilogy.

Zachary

I think she'll love it based on her love for Rocky and no one reacts to it.

Aldo Gonzales

I said that too. Let’s face it: it would’ve won if it had been included.

LightsCameraJake

Damn the one time Days of Thunder is In a poll and of course so is dodgeball and that wins every poll it's ever in. Sometimes I want a reactor to watch other films that havnt been seen in reaction spaces but it seems like people are tunnel vision to the same stuff over and over. Like literally, million dollar baby is damn amazing and even that is losing to cringe comedy like dodgeball. Make it make sense lol.

Kevin Cavanaugh

Cinderella man is a great movie. True story set in the time of the grade depression even if it doesn’t went out you should definitely check it out.

LightsCameraJake

People are tunnel visioned to alway voting for the same movies across reaction spaces.

Andrew Storing

Definitely. Maybe if it gets brought up enough she’ll watch them.

Chris

Warrior is so underrated, you would love it

PHILLIP CORNISH

I picked DOT but i am a motor sport nut.

Alex Tan

I've been suggesting Days of Thunder (1990) to Addie, ever since she watched Top Gun (1986), also with Tom Cruise, and Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), both produced by Don Simpson & Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Tony Scott. #DaysOfThunderForAddieCounts

Phil Stubblefield

I second (or third or fourth) The Karate Kid (1984)! Must see!

PHILLIP CORNISH

Cant agree with you more. 100s of youtube reactors all the same films chasing the same numbers. I can never understand why voters all want the same. I now look for the films i like on youtube and focus on them channels first but having said that Addie is still my number one.

Thomas Wetherell

Cinderella Man deserves more love. It’s not just a great sports movie, it’s a great story about a great man and how hard work and having a loving family can always take you to where you need to go.

Mr. Writhms

Pretty good poll! May I suggest: “The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings” (1976)? It’s a baseball (comedy) movie starring James Earl Jones, Billy Dee Williams and Richard Pryor. It’s awesome and I know it will never, ever win any poll but I always give it a mention on a sports poll and hope for a miracle. Or at least that maybe one of you will check it out and agree with me. Plus it’s the only movie with proof that Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian made a deal that didn't go sour.

scottbb

Gotta add Major League to the sports list

BubblyRainbows

So disappointed! There are a lot of good films there, but I want to see Addie react to "The Replacements" the most, and it's not even in the running. And of course, the one I like the least is leading. Oh well. Whatever wins, if we own it, I'll watch along.

BubblyRainbows

Seconded. I like that one more than most of the Baseball movies that get to the polls. Old, but good!

John A

The Replacements is so much better than all of these and you should watch it whether it wins or not. You won't even remember Dodgeball a few days after watching it.

John A

Sounds like you're the kind of person in the minority most of the time. Says a lot about your tastes

BubblyRainbows

Also, please, Addie, make an executive decision and watch "Stick It" sometime. It's about gymnastics. I feel like the majority of your Patrons are guys, and most guys I know aren't into gymnastics, so I feel like it would never win in a poll. But it's one of my favorite movies.

zynjams

PiB posted that Cinderella man was the best movie she had played on her channel

Baldemort

I'm annoyed that dodgeball got lumped in with the actual sports films on this poll. None of the good sports films are actually doing good. Money ball and million dollar baby, Cinderella Man, and id argue even Days of thunder. should be running away here. Yet the least sports movie on this poll is. 😮‍💨

Alex van Vianen

I would recommend "Any given Sunday" unless that's already been done.

Doug

A League of their Own, Dodgeball, Moneyball, and Million Dollar Baby are my picks, they’re all great movies. 👍 I guess if I had to pick one for Addie it might be A League of their Own since she watched Big not too long ago and League is another Penny Marshall film co-starring Tom Hanks so it would be a nice follow up. But honestly you can’t go wrong with any of these.

Alex Tan

I think that there was a lot of popular demand for Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004) after Addie watched Tropic Thunder (2008).

Alex Tan

Meet the Parents (2000), Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010) are my go-to Ben Stiller movies.

Alex Tan

It's a shame that Days of Thunder is slumping on this poll, due to the popular demand for Dodgeball.

Alex Tan

Chant with me: DAYS OF THUNDER! DAYS OF THUNDER! DAYS OF THUNDER! DAYS OF THUNDER! #DaysOfThunderForAddieCounts

Joe Blankenship

Rudy is pretty great. It's so inspiring and it always makes me cry.

Michael Bergeron

Warrior is so good and not enough people have seen it. But I also love League of Their Own so that’ll get my vote. All of these movies are really great sports movies you should see, except Dodgeball. It’s funny enough and it seems you’ll be seeing it, not much of a sports movie though.

Happy Hanukkah

And she absolutely loved The Replacements.

Phil Stubblefield

@JohnA: "Sounds like you're the kind of person in the minority most of the time. Says a lot about your tastes." I'll take that as a compliment! 😁

Happy Hanukkah

I'll take the occasion of Warrior being on this poll to push for the completely unrelated The 13th Warrior (1999), a tale of a mid-eastern toff joining a band of Vikings on a quest. - Starring Antonio Banderas - Directed by John McTiernan (Predator, Die Hard, Hunt for Red October) - Based on a book by Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park)

Joe Mallard

Should definitely watch Warrior without a poll, Tom Hardy is excellent.

Alex Tan

... should also watch Days of Thunder (1990) without a poll as well.

Joe Mallard

Watch the unrated version of Dodgeball.

Alex Tan

Chant with me: DODGEBALL UNRATED! DODGEBALL UNRATED! DODGEBALL UNRATED! DODGEBALL UNRATED! #DodgeballUnratedForAddieCounts

Joe Blankenship

It's a bummer that "Best in Show" never gets reacted to. Everybody does Spinal Tap, and lots of people like Schitt's Creek, but reactors seem to sleep on "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind."

zynjams

please dont, horrible movie
