Happy Wednesday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Demolition Man (1993), even if you watched it in 16:9 pan and scan on Prime Video. I just got my DVD copy of the movie on Monday and I'm watching the 2.39:1 Widescreen version, this weekend. Stay safe, Addie.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! It's been awhile since I've seen this movie. The only thing I remembered about was that it had Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes in it. I had totally forgotten that Sandra Bullock was also in this one. Definitely looking forward to revisiting this one when I watch it later this evening. For more Sylvester Stallone, I highly recommend the 1992 "Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot". For more Wesley Snipes, I highly recommend the 1998 "U.S. Marshals" and the 1995 "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar". And for more Sandra Bullock, I highly recommend the 2006 "The Lake House". Have a great day today! 😊

One for Phill. 🤪 Thank you to all that voted for this and our Addie for posting it. Not the best at work today and it's not stopped raining so this well help me relax and chill. Love Westley in this "ULA!" 😘

Neversure

Realising that this isn't the YouTube version yet..... Yeah I was ALMOST find 1 half credit.........

If you want to watch an actual good Stallone movie and not cheesy 80s/90s cringe, watch Cop Land. Great movie absolutely loaded with stars, especially if you've ever seen the Sopranos which sadly I doubt you have

Baldemort

Yall are gonna find this odd but. I have never seen this movie. Of all the Stallone films I've seen, I've let this one slip completely by always telling myself ill watch it, and always forgetting to. So now is my chance 😂

Speaking of Sylvester Stallone, I also suggest Daylight (1996). #DaylightForAddieCounts https://youtu.be/SyDYUlinm-8?feature=shared Speaking of Wesley Snipes, I also suggest The Fan (1996). #TheFanForAddieCounts https://youtu.be/8-pZzmcxI_g?feature=shared Speaking of Sandra Bullock, I also suggest Premonition (2007). #PremonitionForAddieCounts https://youtu.be/EBMHs47fVKg?feature=shared EDIT: ...and The Net (1995). #TheNetForAddieCounts https://youtu.be/VOZzATy1vNA?feature=shared

Here's a bit of fun trivia: In the "international" release of this movie, it was actually Pizza Hut who won the franchise wars. So if you watch that version, you'll see they dubbed the audio and replaced most of the visuals (I seem to recall hearing that they missed some, like in reflections, etc). It all had to do with Taco Bell not having a large international presence at the time.

It's really shocking how much they got right in this movie. People think that it's just some dumb sci-fi action movie but there's so much more to it than that. The social satire is was especially incredible. Also there's a double meaning to the line: "Don't worry, I can fix it. All I need is a needle and thread" You'll probably get to Stallone's other movies to find out.

Steve Mercier

"Mellow greetings. What seems to be your boggle?"

Great reaction. I love this movie. It's a great time. Simon Phoenix is such a wonderful villain. Love Westley Snipes; Sylvester Stallone, and Sandra Bullock. Great movie, fun reaction. If I remember correctly there is no real explination of the sea-shells but there were thoeries. Though I don't recall all of them. I do remember hearing there was originally a subplot where we find out John's daughter is living below as one of the "Scraps" in the sewers. In fact I think I remember hearing that the woman that he shields when Simon and his gang attack him and Friendly was going to be John's daughter. But it was removed for reasons I don't recall. A couple other movies I'd recommend with Sylvester would be Cobra (1986) and Tango & Cash (1989). The latter also stars Kurt Russell. Fun cheesy 80's action films.

Lol, I haven't seen this one in a LONG time, good to know it still licks ass! 😄

People don't pay for Patreon for edits.

Fun movie. I have always loved Wesley Snipes whether as the hero or the villain. And Sandra Bullock did such an excellent job as well.

Neversure

True :-) They pay to support the content creator, to ensure that new content is created.

Two of his best in the 90's.

Julian San

Watching this whilst I eat Taco Bell 🌮🛎️

Julian San

Haha! Nice. I forgot there were different fast food tie in versions.

Darian Harman

Incoming violation: I used to watch this movie every fucking goddamn day as a kid on summer break.

Randolph Tirazona

Ollie says: "The three sea shells are just buttons for the bidet. One is for cold water, one is for warm water, one is for air dry."

Philip Davetas

Yeah, different continents at the time were used between Taco Bell and Pizza Hut based on the brand's prevalence.

Sample-Text

I always figured the sea shells were some kind of ultrasonic thing. Like the sonic showers on star trek.

LaserLamb

Oh my God that's gross! Doesn't seem practical or sanitary at all! 🤮

Robert Durant

Two things I never understood about this movie; first off....where are all the animals? We here birds and crickets here and there but we never see any animals. Secondly...if the "scraps" hate it so bad in city then why don't they just leave the city? We are told that Cocteau made the city this utopia but there is never any mention of life outside the city, so does the rest of California or anywhere else simply not exist?
