Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed revisiting Easy A (2010). My girlfriend did watch this movie and she liked it. Now I REALLY need to watch this one.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I've been looking forward to you getting to this one. This is one of my favorite Emma Stone movies. And it's one of my 'go-to' comfort movies. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. For more great Emma Stone, I very highly recommend the 2011 "The Help" and "Aloha" from 2015. Have a great day today and a great weekend! 😊

Easy A. one of my fav Emma stone movies.

I'd recommend "Birdman (or, The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)" and "The Favourite" (same director as "Poor Things").

I'm also throwing in Kinds of Kindness (2024), to complete the Emma Stone/Yorgos Lanthimos trifecta. #MoreEmmaStoneForAddieCounts

Fun story, Olive mentions that Micah was sent to his grandparents in Palatka, Florida which is where I'm from! It was such a big shake up for our small town when we all went to the theatres to see Easy A! Such a random moment but one a lot of us never forget!

Mister Lou

her Friend who was only in like the first half, is also in another great High School movie called Bandslam, which I often say is like a mix between School of Rock and this, Easy A. I highly recommend Bandslam, I think you'll have a lot of fun with it.

Fun movie, great cast too! 🙂 On a tangent, this movie reminded me that Stanley Tucci (who plays Olive's dad) is in some really great films (The Terminal, Conclave, Hunger Games, Devil Wears Prada, Lucky Number Slevin, Road to Perdition).

I love this movie. You should also check out "The Edge of Seventeen" with Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson. It's nice when high school movies don't automatically go for the "teachers are the enemy" cliche. And don't forget, Earth Day's a month away.
