Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you had fun with Batman & Robin (1997), despite how much of a schlocky cheeseball this one is. Since it's part of The Batman Legacy DVD box set from 2000, I also own this one on a double-sided disc with the Widescreen (1.85:1) version on one side and the Full-Screen (1.33:1) version on the other, the latter version is in open matte and this video proves it: https://youtu.be/gUjWGeYUqg8?feature=shared

I dragged my friends to the theater to watch this. I had to apologize on the way out. 😳

Andre Agog

George Clooney was presenting an award at something shortly after this came out. He was a little late onto the stage and told the audience “I’ve just been apologising to Adam West for ten minutes”

Randee Carreno

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I agree. A great cast, and the storyline is a bit cheesey. LOL! For more George Clooney, I highly recommend the 1996 "One Fine Day". Looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. 😊

oh no! 😂

Saw this in the theater when I was 13. I knew it was gonna be bad. I just wanted to see Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy. Worth it. Now I'm curious how much DC is left? Are we gonna watch The Flash? It's pretty 'meh' but I still think it's worth watching. Full circle and all.

There are good bad movies and there are bad bad movies. This is a good bad movie so I'm glad you gave it a watch. I liked how you took offence at Bruce calling Julie, "Ivy". For more Elle Macphereson, check out Sirens (1994). That one's not great but not terrible either. For more Uma Thurman I'd recommend Henry & June (1990). I wouldn't call that one amazing but I think it has a certain charm.

Oof, Addie mentioned the reviews at the beginning but man this one's bad! 😄 I'm not sure it's quite as bad as 11%, but it's still not good, maybe 3/10 for me. And those 3 points are mainly because it's visually ok and Clooney isn't a bad choice for Bruce. And I suspect with better writing Arnold and Uma could have been good choices for Fries and Ivy. But yeah, the writing is pretty terrible. It was an explosion in a Cheese Factory, Da-Brie was everywhere! 😝 🧀 Either way, that's the last one in this particular Batman series, and the Nolan trilogy is already on the channel as well. I've recommended it before, but if Addie's up for more Batman, my suggestion is check out the animated Batman The Dark Knight Returns next (95% Rotten Tomatoes). The animated Batman movies are generally pretty good and I think The Dark Knight Returns is the best of them (just my opinion). 🙂

It was the movie that put the freeze on the series. lol. okay now I am cheesy. Had not seen this one since it first came out. Did not think I would ever watch again lol

Jacob King

Still better than Batman vs Superman

Brandon Gibbs

This is still one of my favorite 90's Batman movies!😁

Ah Batman and Robin... the only movie I've ever walked out of the theater because I just couldn't watch any more. Lol

Philip Davetas

Jeez. Why are you trying to torture yourself? Do you have some masochistic death wish?

According to rumor, if you tell George Clooney that you saw this in the theater he will refund your ticket from his own wallet. I could not sit through this again on my own, but I had fun watching you grit your teeth and make it through to the end. I recommend -- HEAVILY recommend -- the animated films based on "Batman: The Animated Series". The first film, "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm", is in my opinion the single best Batman movie ever made. The second film, "Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero", is what this film should have been. I'm sure my nostalgia from seeing them in childhood is part of it, but even taking that away they're both still head-and-shoulders above the other films.

I don't know if you take requests recommendations but it would be awesome to see reactions to the movie Annihilation and tv show From. I humbly thank you for your consideration if you do take requests and look forward to possible reactions From you. (Hehe)
