Happy Wednesday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Stand By Me (1986). So far, I've only seen the Lard Ass Barf-O-Rama scene. But I just got the movie on DVD on Monday and I'm gonna watch it this weekend.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! :) 😊 This is another movie that I loved growing up in the 80s, and I still enjoy today. I keep forgetting that this movie was based on a novella by Stephen King. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

One of the best, love this movie!

One thing I like to do with movies like this is check out the filming locations on google maps. Not a lot has changed, pretty timeless movie!

Rob Reiner is such a good director! And if I'm counting right I think this is the fourth of his films on the channel (i.e. A Few Good Men, Misery, The Princess Bride, and now Stand By Me.) If you get in the mood for more Rob Reiner films, Addie, definitely check out This Is Spinal Tap! (which I'm 100% positive is on your short list already) and When Harry Met Sally, they're both excellent! P.S. As to the question at the end about Wil Wheaton, he's probably most widely known for this movie and for his role as the kid navigator Wesley Crusher in Star Trek The Next Generation, and maybe more recently for his funny guest spots on Big Bang Theory. (He's done a lot of other things too but those are the three I bet he's best known for.)

Andre Agog

Even though it's not a horror, this is the most perfect example of a Stephen King story that he's ever done.

Rob Reiner! Actor, Director, Producer predominant in my 'cinematic experience' from a kid in the 60's. Wither it be TV or the Theaters! Look at the list of films he's directed. One of my most favorite: "The American President" (1995). This one... My friends didn't quite care for it, but I loved it. I haven't seen it since the theaters and now I'll have to live it again lol
