Here's the full length reaction to Live and Let Die, my first Roger Moore Bond movie! I think the song in this one has been my favorite Bond song so far! Okay, there were A LOT OF SNAKES IN THIS ONE!! I like Roger Moore's portrayal of Bond so far, but I don't think this has been my favorite Bond movie. I feel like it had a strong start, but the movie started losing me in the second half. Enjoy!

One of the best themes in the entire franchise.

Let's give Addie a round of applause for surviving that snake scene in Live and Let Die (1973)! 👏👏 Happy Wednesday. Let the Roger Moore James Bond mission begin!

Adrian Duenas

Can’t wait to rewatch this tonight Addie. It’ll take a few movies for Moore’s Bond era to find its footing but the best is right around the corner.

Randee Carreno

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 Welcome to the Roger Moore "James Bond" era. This the James Bond that I grew up with, and yet this is the only one that I don't remember much of. This is pretty much a first time watch for me as well. Looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

The Bond I grew up with! Roger's style is very different from Connery, and he takes a little getting used to, but he was a great gentleman and a very underrated actor (anyone who hasn't seen him in The Man Who Haunted Himself, you've missed a treat)

Steve SG-1

The 70s isn't my favorite era to watch any movies/shows I much prefer the 60s or the 80s and above. Not sure why but that's how ma brain works.

Adrian Duenas

Fun fact: Roger Moore was one of the many possible choices to play Bond back when Dr. No was being made. He was even considered for Connery’s replacement in Majesty’s.

Not sure if Addie caught that the design of the back of Solitaire's tarot deck looks like "007"

Roger Moore is my favorite Bond, although I think the scripts during the Connery years were better. You'll see a few more long vehicle-action sequences as you go on with the Bond movies - I think this is just a reflection of what is popular with respect to action films. I don't mind them but they aren't my favorite, especially in the 70s. I like my Bond films to be heavier on plot, and there are so many great action films during that era where the plot is (in some instances) just an excuse to introduce cool action. I've recommended these before, but check out: Bullit (1968), The French Connection (1971), Vanishing Point (1971), The Seven Ups (1973), Dirty Mary Crazy Larry (1973), Gone In 60 Seconds (1974)... and let's throw in Mad Max (1979)

Great theme song, yes I agree one of the best

Julian San

Roger Moore is the Bond I grew up with (literally, he raised me on the streets of London. But no, not really, not at all .😂). Great theme song but not a personal fave of mind. Too Blaxploitation for my liking.

Doug

It’s not a great Bond movie but Moore himself is good as Bond and it does have, I think, the best title song. 👍

Billy Dancel

Ursula Andress and Jane Seymour are upper echelon Bond girls! This did drag on a bit with the boat chase. I have no memory of other Bond movies that include snakes and for your sake I hope that none of the rest do.

Alex Leach

When the snake emerged in the bathroom and freaked Addie out, I was thinking I’m pretty sure a guy gets shut in a coffin filled with snakes later on…

Once you complete the franchise, I'd love to see your thoughtful ranking of them all. I have my own ranking of all 27 films, but it's always fun to see other perspectives. Oh, and for the record, this film is #16 on my list... and Connery holds 5 of the top 11 spots. *wink* Thanks for another great reaction.

Andrew Roach

Yes his first two are weak and then boom, best bond movie ever. Moore is my favorite but Dalton and Craig are the best.

Andrew Roach

Well there is that giant boa constrictor later... insert evil laugh...

If someday you decide to close the channel the last movie you react to should be "Snakes on a Plane"... It would be the best reaction ever 😂
