Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 This one, and the 2018 "The Grinch" are my two favorite Grinch movies. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today. 😊

Happy Wednesday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). This is one Universal Pictures Christmas movie that I'll watch alongside Violent Night (2022). In fact I own it on DVD I'm both Widescreen (1.85:1) & Full Screen (1.33:1) formats, with the latter in open matte for non-VFX shots. I also own the recent 4K Blu-ray as well. BTW, the makeup is sooo good because of Rick Baker. But for Jim Carrey, it was 8-hours of torture which required him to seek help from a CIA operative to help him cope with it. There's also Grinchmas which is celebrated annually at Universal Studios Hollywood & Universal Studios Florida as well.

I like Addie's concentration at the beginning of any reaction when she checks everything is in order

Taylor Momsen's (Cindy Lou Who) band, The Pretty Reckless, just released a Christmas album and she sang the Where Are You Christmas song! So good.

What's funny is that I've already triple checked everything before I even get to that point. I'm always so worried about not recording properly hahaha

Hi Addie, I heard that Jim Carrey suffered a few major claustrophobic episodes while being in the Grinch suit and prosthetics, that the studio hired an ex CIA agent to teach Jim interrogation and torture techniques to handle his anxieties and stress.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not a big fan of this one. I think it is ok, but I compare it to the '66 version and it seems so cynical. It really tells a different story, which is fine, I just prefer the '66 story.

Kevin Timmins

No shade to anyone who likes the Jim Carrey version, but I whole heartedly agree with you 👍

My favorite part of the whole movie is when Martha Who gives the Mayor his ring back and chooses the Grinch, then the Grinch laughs in the Mayor's face. LOL I laugh so hard at that every time. 🤣🎄

I'll be watching your reaction on one screen and CineBinge on the other. It's the crossover you never thought you needed!

After the Grinch throws Max, ADD-E hits him with her classic, “HOW DARE YOU?!” Termites in your smile.. ADD-E: “EEEWWWWW!”
