It’s a great Christmas movie. The remake is pretty good, maybe worth a watch in the future.

Happy Miracle Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Miracle on 34th Street (1947). I've only seen the 1994 version and I'm suggesting it to you. #MiracleOn34thStreet1994ForAddieCounts

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 This movie is such a wonderful classic. It's been awhile since I've seen the original. So, I'm definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

Thelma Ritter is uncredited in this movie but she was Stella in Rear Window. Great eye, ADD-E!!

Love this one - it is on my must-watch list each year. The remake is ok, I'd say it is worth watching even though I don't find the ending nearly as satisfying.

Adrian Duenas

Huge praise for Natalie Wood who was only 9 years old in this. Such a talented actress, but a tragic life story.

Yay! I meant to look her up after the movie and then forgot to do so. Thank you for confirming!!

Adrian Duenas

I agree, she died way too young. Glad to see you loved her performance as Susan. Would love to see you react to more of her films like Rebel Without a Cause, Splendor in the Grass, and Gypsy. There’s also a really good HBO documentary about her.

Cliff Adams

24 Derby Road, Port Washington, New York looks the same with the exception of the addition of roofline windows. It's not for sale (last time I checked).

Daniel Goldberg

Charming is exactly right! One of my favorite things about this movie is that it never really tells you if he is Santa or not, you get to decide that for yourself. I see that the remake has been recommended by a few others (some lukewarmly to be fair). I’ve always felt that it lacks any of the charm of the original, so for me it is not nearly as good. But you should watch it and decide for yourself.

Philip Davetas

I've actually never seen this. I know it comes on TV every year, but just didn't go there.

Little Natalie Wood's got some serious side-eye.
