Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed This is Spinal Tap (1984). Another watchlist addition for me.

The Dude Abides

YES!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to watch this with you after I get off work! Thank you for watching this one too even though it was second in the Rob Reiner poll. Just bought a “Smell the Glove” t shirt for my next concert experience

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 This is going to be a first time watch for me as well. I've seen only bits and pieces of this movie since it's been on cable tv alot lately. And I think that this movie is going to be on tv this weekend. Perfect timing! Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction over the weekend. Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

"The Boston gig is cancelled, but don't worry, it's not a big college town." 😄

Just to fill in some of the cast credits: - Michael McKean, aka David St Hubbins the lead singer, is also recognizable to more recent audiences from his starring role as Jimmy's (Bob Odenkirk's) older brother in Better Call Saul. - Harry Shearer has starred as many, many voices on The Simpsons since its inception including both Mr Burns and Smithers, Principal Skinner, Reverend Lovejoy, Lenny, and a bunch of others. - Christopher Guest, after Spinal Tap, did a whole series of other mockumentary style films with many of the same actors including Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind

Adrian Duenas

This was Rob Reiner’s directorial debut. Such a great start to his career 🤘🎸 I’ll always laugh at the band getting lost trying to find the stage

Cliff Adams

Christopher Guest: Nigel Tufnel and Count Rugen... where his fingers go to 11.

Aaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!! I love Tap's whole catalogue! it's too bad so many of their albums are out of print, so I've only been able to track down three records. Ah, well. At least I've got this documentary to revisit their biggest hits.

Joe Blankenship

Now you can do the other Christopher Guest mockumentaries--Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind. RIP Catherine O'Hara.

Michael McKean will always be Fred from Short Circuit 2 to me. That's where I first knew him.

The Dude Abides

Some of the music is honestly really good like the song at the beginning and end of the movie is legit a great rock song

"We toured the world and elsewhere...."

P.S. Lol, I had to come back and post that I stumbled on an actual video of Soundgarden doing a live cover of Big Bottom from 12 years ago on Youtube. 😄

Kyle West

Especially Best in Show just for the setting.

Joe Blankenship

Best in Show is finally starting to get more reactions on the Youtubes. Long overdue, that's one of the funniest movies ever.
