Here's the full length reaction to Never Say Never Again! Even if this is an unofficial James Bond movie, it was so great to see Sean Connery in this role again! Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 This is another one of my favorite James Bond, and Sean Connery movies. Definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. Have a great day today! 😊

For some extra "bond", watch the James Bond Parody/Spoof , 'Johnny English' (there's 3 of them; Johnny English (2003), Reborn (2011) and Strikes Again (2018). ), and were written by the writers of seven of the james bond films (The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day plus all of Daniel Craigs run).

Adrian Duenas

Since this is basically a remake of Thunderball, I’m curious to know which version Addie prefers

John A

Well it's safe to say never again now, unfortunately

Max

I thought the same at Rowan Atkinson's appearance. Anyone who likes the James Bond movies should definitely check out the Johnny English movies. Personally, I think they're funnier than the Austin Powers movies.

Steve SG-1

I'm really confused about the Thunderball conection, and why this movie got made. I guess I'll have to do a deep dive.

Luis Fernandez

Not sure if you noticed, Addie, but you've watched Kim Basinger on the channel before - as Garth's first love-interest in Wayne's World 2

John A

I was also curious about that.

I remember seeing this when it came out, there was talk about which was better "Octopussy" or "Never Say Never Again" which were released the same year. I did love them both. At the time I preferred "Never Say Never Again" over "Thunderball". I have grown to like Thunderball more now.

Thomas Yanez

Due to some licensing shenanigans, a guy had the rights to make a movie based on the book "Thunderball" and really wanted to make a Bond movie, so he made a second adaptation of the same source material.

Doug

Also as reporter/love interest Vicki Vale in the first Michael Keaton Batman movie.

Say what you will about this not being an "official" Bond movie, it's still WAY better than the other "unofficial Bond movie" - Double 007 , aka O.K. Connery, aka Operation Kid Brother. That one starred Sean Connery's real life brother Neil Connery as James Bond's brother Neil, a renowned surgeon and hypnotist, who is forced to go undercover when 007 goes missing. The movie even managed to get the same actors who played M and Moneypenny to appear. It's INFAMOUSLY terrible, and MST3K has a really funny episode of it! 😄

Max Von Sydow's espionage: "Three Days of the Condor" (1975) Edward Fox's espionage: "Day of The Jackal" (1973) "Force 10 from Navarone" (1978) Sean Connery and Edward Fox in the same movie: "A Bridge Too far" (1977) *True Story*

Nigel the Bahamas contact was played by Rowen Atkinson. Also a spy in: "Johnny English" (2003)
