Happy Monday, Addie. Let the Andor journey begin!

This is a bit of a surprise. A pleasant one though! Andor! Let’s gooo!

Adrian Duenas

General Addie, you’re a bold one… Sorry, I couldn’t help it! I read the description 🙈🤓

Hell yes, just like Ted Lasso I’m here for the whole ride. People can complain about Disney Star Wars all they want but they gave us Andor and Rogue One along with a lot of other great content so I don’t care that the sequel trilogy sucked. And Addie, I got your back on rogue one being one of the best Star Wars movies because I think it is the best Star Wars movie hands-down no questions asked. Once you finish the series, you’ll definitely need to watch rogue one again because it hits so much differently.

Happy Monday, Addie! I hope that you had a great weekend. 😊 I'm so excited for you to watch this one. Definitely one of the best of the "Star Wars" shows. Have a great day today! 😊

Whenever your journey through this ends you should rewatch Rogue One. With different eyes it’ll be like a different movie.

Andorra is definitely a bit of a slow burn, especially if you aren't aware of its three episode arc format.

Billy Dancel

You don’t need to do another video for that.

Steve Mercier

An excuse to watch this phenomenal show again? Yes, please!

Steve Mercier

Just a couple of things for your consideration: BBY 5 means 5 years before the Battle of Yavin (the battle at the end of the original Star Wars movie--just a way of keeping track of the timeline): this takes place 5 years before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Also, the flashback sequences with young Cassian (Kassa) are not meant to have subtitles: just an artistic choice on the part of the showrunner to make the world a bit more immersive and, I suppose, alien.

It took me a second to recognize the actor who played Jamie's Dad in Ted Lasso in this one (Kieran O'Brien) as Pegla, the guy with the hounds in the shipyard. 😄

This'll be a first time watch for me too. I got burned out on Star Wars some point around Boba Fett's show. I like Rosario Dawson so I'll probably check out Ahsoka eventually. Just off the first episode, what I like so far is I don't know anybody. Just our guy from Rogue One. I like seeing what goes on outside of the Empire and Jedi and light sabers and planet-destroying laser cannons.

Joe Blankenship

Kenari kinda sounds like Spanish. I heard a "mucho" and a "que" and that girl definitely said "manana".

Joe Blankenship

Of the newer movies, I'd have to put Rogue One up there at number 1. Force Awakens and Last Jedi are really just fan service and nostalgia. Rogue One had a better story.

The Dude Abides

I’d say Rise of Skywalker is the worst offender of gratuitous fan service of any of them

The Dude Abides

The Asoka show is really good, especially if you liked Rebels

Subbed for Andor, so glad you're watching this. When I watched it, it immediately shot to the top of my favorites list.

I’ve seen this several times, and I can say that, for me, this is the best Star Wars content I’ve ever seen, and that includes the movies. The first couple of episodes are a slow burn, setting up the story and introducing characters. Some people get a little impatient with how slow the first two episodes are, but this show takes the time needed to tell the story right. 24 episodes over 2 seasons, and not a single dud. Many are exceptional. Looking forward to watching again along with you.

“Rogue One” is the best SW movie because the creator of this show, Tony Gilroy, was brought in to save it. The project had gone off the rails. I’m not sure how much of what was originally shot remains.
