Here's the full length reaction to my Rogue One rewatch! Do not watch this if you haven't seen all of Andor!!! There will be spoilers for Andor!!! This movie is already heartbreaking, but knowing everything that led up to this makes it break my heart even more! They all had to sacrifice so much (or should I say EVERYTHING) to get to this point. Dang it, I just want Cassian to live happily ever after! Enjoy!

One of the biggest things to adjust to after watching Andor is remembering that he’s not the main character of this movie lol

It’s been a while since I watched Rogue One Looking forward to seeing your rewatch post Andor!

Thank you, Addie

Yea after Andor this defintely hurt a lot more than the first watch and like you said it was an already heartbreaking movie to begin with, Cassians sacrifice along with everyone who got them to that point saved the galaxy, they were the true heroes of Star Wars. It still blows me away that those fans who grew up watching the original movies are now involved in expanding the universe and lore in incredible ways, in Episode 4 we just only got to see how Leia was trying to get the plans to the rebels never wondering how they even got the plans in the first place. Also the fact Cassian has a child can open up possible future shows/movies with a grown up child, i dont think a gender was mentioned so they left that completely open as well.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 So excited that you watched this movie right after finishing "Andor". My plan for this evening is to re-watch your reactions for the last couple of "Andor" episodes right before I watch this. I might even re-watch your reaction to "Star Wars: A New Hope" later. Have a great day today! 😊

When this is over I think l’ll rewatch Star Wars ‘77. And when that’s over maybe I’ll rewatch Empire. And when that’s over might as well rewatch Jedi. And when that’s over…

Off topic. Considering the rumored and confirmed characters that will appear in the new Spiderman movie, I recommend watching Daredevil Season 2 if you have the chance.

"No trouble, no trouble here." Those two characters are the same that Luke meets in the cantina. "He doesn't like you." "I'm sorry." "I don't like you either. You just watch yourself, we're wanted men. I have the death sentence on 12 systems." "I'll be careful." "You'll be dead!" I think you're right. You should re-watch all of STAR WARS again!!

Last week was heartbreaking because the series was over. This week we get a very happy ending with this re-watch. Take care, ADD-E!

Is anybody gonna sync this one with Addie's first reaction?

Doug

So Andor is Addie's favorite Star Wars show, but now I'm wondering who her favorite Star Wars character is. Maybe Grogu? 😊

It would have been hilarious if they used a wider shot for that cave little Jyn went into that had the hatch (do a search for Yoda Cave Iceland). I use to think Saw's mask was for oxygen, but now I am sure it is for him to huffing that Rhydo fuel we saw him doing with Wilmon. I totally agree, the Andor series really enhances the Rogue One experience... and gives you a little more of a gut punch towards it end.

Always a great movie. But even more meaningful knowing so many of the character’s backstories. And the sacrifices each and every one of them made for the rebellion. Especially Andor I’m a little surprised by Melshi’s death. I guess I was misremembering, but I could have sworn they made it more noteworthy than that. But they didn’t even show it. He was in cover at the door, then next time they showed him he was lying dead on the ground

It is sad, but you know most of these characters had to die. They don't appear in any of the later (chronologically, not when they were filmed) movies or TV shows. They're not even mentioned. Their personal story had to end here.
