Love that you spotted Walt's manipulation attempt at inviting Louis round so that Skyler couldn't cause a scene. Just like how he cooked breakfast and was suddenly an attentive husband when Skyler questioned him about the second cell phone. Whilst Skyler has done a terrible thing in vindictively having an affair, it's interesting to see her motive as a character. She's willing to take the blame and the the black sheep of the family just to protect her own son from the secret of his father's villainy (and she doesn't know the half of it!). And she has served Walt with divorce papers & they're unofficially separated so it isn't the worst affair the world. Ted also spotted in the last episode that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring so (though he certainly didn't ask any questions lol) must be a bit confused.
