Ever fall behind on doing something that the longer you wait, the more daunting it becomes? That’s where I’m at with your Breaking Bad reactions Addie 😭 I’m so far behind! But I’m going to make a concerted effort to get caught up!

Adrian Duenas

I can already picture Addie’s next thumbnail lol welcome to the latter half of Breaking Bad

Addie, how bad ass and scary is gus, to have an entire scene like that, with the box cutter, not say a single word the entire time almost and leave. Nobody could have been cast for this role other than Giancarlo Esposito.

2026-09-21 19:59 Such a well-constructed scene in the lab! First of all, I don't think Gus really liked or trusted Gale. He was asking too many questions. Second, Victor was seen by the onlookers at the crime scene, which could've put Gus's empire in jeopardy. Third, Victor was already showing off as the next big cook without running it by Gus, who needs to make all the decisions. Fourth, Gus really regretted not being able to kill walt and (Sweet Baby) Jesse, but the power play on Victor took priority in his mind as long as Walt was still available. As Jesse said, he didn't have another scientist available that could measure up to Walt.

This episode has one of the BEST match cuts EVAH!!!

Lavell Crawford, who plays Huell (Saul's new security guy), is one of 2 standup comedians joining the show this season.

Great start to the season! Though 2 things about this episode. 1. I’ll never look at box cutters the same way ever again! 2. Always remember when you’re having a bad day at work, you could be having a day like Walter, and Jessie’s.

Loved your reaction to the lab notes. What all has Gail written down in there? Hmmm...

If Gale hadn't fanboy'd so hard for Walt's meth, he might be alive. The whole question of "purity" when we're talking about crystal meth is so funny to me. It's not like tweakers are connoisseurs of fine methamphetamine. Walt's blue meth or some shake'n'bake junk, they really don't care.
