(from a year later after this video was uploaded) Apollo 13 (1995) is one of my favorite Ron Howard movies alongside Backdraft (1991), Far and Away (1992) and A Beautiful Mind (2001). This is one riveting true story of how the crew of the crippled Aquarius Lunar Module had to navigate through the challenges of getting home to Earth when the module's oxygen tank explodes. I own the 2-Disc Anniversary Edition of the movie on DVD in both Widescreen (2.39:1) & Full Screen (1.33:1) formats.

Nice reaction. At the end of the film, Tom Hanks' Jim Lovell character shakes the hand of a captain on the aircraft carrier. That man is the real Jim Lovell.

You will absolutely love the movie "October Sky" based on the true story of Homer Hickam who is a small town coal miner kid that had motivation and aspirations about the space program to build rockets and reach for the stars.
