Happy Monday, Addie! 😊 The whole series is great! However, this is one of my favorites of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie series. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you think of it. Have great day today! 😊

Nice reaction, Addie. This really is an epic movie with a lot of swashbuckling action and frighteningly cursed pirates. I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to the next two sequels, Dead Man's Chest & At World's End, and also On Stranger Tides & Dead Men Tell No Tales. They just get better and better. "Ya best start believin' in ghost stories, [Addie]. You're in one."

BTW, the moonlight serenade, with the cursed pirates, is my favorite scene in the movie because of Keira Knightley's performance. She's a real scream queen in that scene. And yes, Klaus Badelt's score is really epic. Hans Zimmer & Geoff Zanelli get to take it to the next level for the next four movies, though Zanelli scores the fifth film. I should also mention that the fork that Pintel pulled out of Ragetti, went through his wooden eyeball.

"You need to get yourself a guurl mate" Gotta love it.

I've always preferred the pronunciation 'cah-RIH-bee-ehn' myself. To-MAY-to/to-MAH-to, I guess. 🤨

The amount of times the monkey scared Addie in this movie is worth the price of admission xD

Jim Schmitz

Not bad for being inspired by a Disney theme park ride. For me, this is J. D.'s signature role. No one could do it better, imo. Great time with you, Ms Addie.

Kingdom of heaven directors cut is a fantastic Orlando Bloom movie

The first movie in this series was quite fun, unfortunately the sequels never lived up to it.

Alongside Black Hawk Down (Extended Edition) & Troy (Director's Cut).

I only saw the first 2 (and mostly just because the rest of my insisted I come along with them 🤨). I found them both pleasant enough time-killers (especially the first one), but ultimately pretty disposable... and I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to ever see them again.
