I know this is an older reaction, but I just watched it and I have to say, the subtitles on this movie are TERRIBLE! And I'm not talking about spelling errors. I counted over three dozen captions that were completely wrong, such as when multiple Jacks were in the brig, one of the subtitles says, "Off their winges," (what???) when Jack actually said "Half-barrel hinges" right before lifting the door off its hinges. And I wasn't even counting from the beginning. I started counting after I'd seen enough incorrect lines for it to annoy me. I bet there's over 50 in total. This was a fun reaction and a great movie, don't get me wrong. I had a blast watching along. I just had to rant about the subtitles. Did no one watch with subtitles on to check the quality before this was released? Do they not provide the subtitle people with a script or something so they get it right? They really should have.

where are the other ones?

Nice reaction, as always, Addie. At World's End is an epic conclusion to the two film story arc with Dead Man's Chest. A little heads up, On Stranger Tides will have a brief snake-related moment. You can do this, please be brave. BTW, nice cardigan.

Happy Tuesday, Addie! 😊 I'm looking forward to the continuation of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series. I'm watching this reaction while having tacos for dinner. Have a great rest of the day! 😊

Fun facts, the Prison Dog rode on the backs of sea turtles that were lashed together with his fur to escape Pelegostos Island. Calypso can take many forms. She chose to take form as a crab due to the pirates attributing it as her symbol. When she was shouting before taking the crab form, she's yelling insults in her native tongue.

These movies are quite an adventure. I love all the movies despite some of tthe weaker ones, they are all fun to watch, have a laugh and just enjoy the man that is Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow xD

O-Dog

This is my favorite Pirates movie! It has one of the most epic climax in movie history in my opinion. A true blockbuster and was also the most expensive movie at the time. Glad you enjoyed it!

Happy October. Thank you, this and Dead Man's Chest are my favourites.

I still don't really like when sequel titles sort of subliminally use certain words in it indicating that it may be the last outing of a series, but then turns out to *not* be, e.g.: "Indiana Jones and the LAST Crusade" "Star Trek: The FINAL Frontier" "Spy Kids 3: GAME OVER" "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's END" "The Bourne ULTIMATUM" 🤔

the Dutchman is suppose to ferry souls to the other world and the place they do it isn't in our world, so no, she can't visit because they are not suppose to be here. Regarding their fate, they was a LOT of debates whether his curse is lifted because he completed his task and his love didn't leave him, or he can only come every 10 years for eternity. I chose to believe that he can live on land after the 10 years and no more curse because i like that ending better (:

I enjoyed all 3 Pirates movies so far but I didn't like the soundtrack to part 3. The previous soundtracks were much better.

Thoroughly enjoyed your reactions to these pirate movies, the smile on your face, the tears in your eyes. You obviously enjoyed them. Here's hoping you carry on with them. They do lose a little something, but they are still an enjoyable watch.
