Here's the full length reaction to Gl-ADDIE-ator! This one came in second place on the Ridley Scott poll, but it seemed like a must-see movie! I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did. Oh, and I think Commodus is in my top three most hated villain out of the movies I've seen so far! Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday, Addie. Gladiator is my all time favorite film that was directed by Ridley Scott, such a great Oscar-winning movie. BTW, nice pun in the description. I'm so glad that you were entertained by this movie. Oh, and if you thought that those three brief snake moments in the movie freaked you out, then I have to warn you that Blade Runner (1982) will have only two snake scenes in that movie. Please be brave, Addie. You can do this.

However, if I had to choose between Ridley Scott or his younger brother Tony, then my go-to is Tony, since I'm a thriller junkie. But yes, I'm still a fan of Ridley as well. I would still love to see a Tony Scott poll someday.

Does anyone know if shes watching the extended edition?

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 So glad that you ended up reacting to this one as well since it was a close second in the Ridley Scott poll. This is a great movie. A few of my other favorite Russell Crowe movies that you might like of your haven't seen them already: A Beautiful Mind(2001), Les Misèrables(2010), Cinderella Man(2005), and The Quick and the Dead(1995). Haveve a great day today! 😊

Aww dang, it's not the extended. Ya know, sometimes I wish there would be only one version of a movie so people don't miss out xD Theatrical is still good though 👌

I watched this movie with 4 different reactioneers. Always fell asleep after 1 hour. Maybe it is not for me.

Fun fact: The emperor Marcus Aurelius in this movie is the philosopher Hannibal Lecter references in order to help Clarice catch Buffalo Bill.

Is the extended cut really that significantly better? When watching the deleted scenes on the DVD, I don't really remember any of them standing out as 'that should've been in the movie' to me. 🤔

Addie: “If they hurt his wife and son, I’m going to be so mad.” All of us: “Ummmmmm……..” Is Commodus worse than Percy from ‘The Green Mile’
