While "Christmas Vacation" is one of those few sequels that can stand completely on its own, I do hope you'll eventually watch the original "Vacation".

Happy Wednesday, Addie. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) really made you crack up, just as it did for me. It's really a must-watch for every holiday season. Definitely rewatch this with your partner, Jeremy, as yule both crack up as well. Fun fact: If you look closely at the start of the credits, Clark is seen petting the dog, Snots, whom everyone was afraid to pet, due to his sinuses. BTW, nice sweater and Santa hat. It really puts you into the festive mood. And I'm so glad that you feel in your element this month.

Happy Wednesday, Addie! 😊 This is such a hilarious movie. It's always a must-watch for me during the holiday season or anytime that it's on tv. I very highly recommend the whole "Vacation" series. The rest of the movies in order are: "National Lampoons Vacation", "National Lampoons European Vacation", and "Vegas Vacation". Have a great day today! 😊

Speaking of Juliette Lewis, I suggest Cape Fear (1991, directed by Martin Scorsese) & Strange Days (1995).

Kyle Brandon Sanger

This is definitely one of the best comedies and I also recommend giving "Lethal Weapon" a watch, another 'Christmas' film.

8-bit Christmas is my new favorite Christmas movie. based in the 80s, how this person wants a nintendo more than anything for christmas.

I really hope you watch Alita: Battle Angel before the sequel comes out. Another hit by James Cameron! Love your reactions!

Speaking of James Cameron, I also suggest The Abyss (1989, SPECIAL EDITION), True Lies (1994), Titanic (1997), & Avatar (2009). And speaking of Robert Rodriguez (who directed Alita), I suggest the Mexico Trilogy (El Mariachi (1992), Desperado (1995) & Once Upon A Time In Mexico (2003)), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996, WARNING!: There's a SNAKE scene in this one), The Faculty (1998), Sin City (2004), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Machete (2010), and Machete Kills (2013).

Random thought... Im sure Addie the entire time was thinking: "GOSH wearing this Santa hat with these headphones is really uncomfortable on the ears, and its itchy" but just never said anything. xD

This and Scrooged are my two must watch Christmas season movies. I'm glad you enjoyed this movie, and glad it's been added to another person's Holiday watch list.

I hope you'll watch the original "Vacation" movie from 1983 some time next summer. It's just as good. Of course, the less said about "European Vacation" and "Vegas Vacation," the better (you're free to watch them, as always, but they're not even in the same league).

A bit of trivia: the actress who played Aunt Bethany (Mae Questel) was the original voice of both Betty Boop and Olive Oyl.

It was actually surprisingly comfortable and makes me want to wear a Santa hat in all videos moving forward hahaha
