I mentioned in this month's Q&A that I haven't seen WALL-E before, and it got me thinking about what other animated movies I haven't seen! I watched a lot of the classic Disney princess-type movies growing up, so I missed some of these choices that came out later on. Help me choose a movie to watch next!

Torn between WALL-E and Big Hero 6. Both deserve a watch but going to have to vote for WALL-E this time.

All of the above 💯

Ian Forbes

All of these are really fun. Wall-E is my favorite Pixar film so it’s got my vote. You’ll like them all, Addie!

James Fling

All are great choices, but How to Train Your Dragon is one of my all time favorite movies.

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 All of these are such great animated movies. I had such a hard time with this one. I literally just closed my eyes, and picked one. LOL! And it looked like "Kung Fu Panda" ended up with the vote. Whichever movie wins will be a great choice. Have a great day today. 😊

carbsix

... and you should add The Incredibles if u haven't seen it 👍

Tom W.

There's always Japanese animation too. Might I suggest "Ghost in the Shell".

Saul Hernandez

Dude could there be a harder poll!!! 😩😂 May I suggest doing all of them? 😂 Maybe start with big hero 6 then Wall-E, and then the trilogy’s of HTTYD and kung fu panda spaced out of course 😊

Alex Tan

Happy Thursday, Addie. All are great choices but my vote goes for Wall-E (2008). Speaking of Andrew Stanton, I also suggest John Carter (2012).

Alexis

Wall-E is one of my favorite movies of all time. I had a few years earlier finished my degree in Computer Science and I'd done a fair amount of AI, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing so this movie blew me away with how very clever they were in portraying Wall-E and how he interacted with the world. It's also a beautiful love story :)

Patrick Egan

Wall-E is an absolute masterpiece, and one of my favorite movies of all time.

Brian Leonard

I went with Wall-E. Big Hero 6 would be good too.

Luis Fernandez

All great films, but I'm going with WALL-E cos I've only watched it a couple of times.

Alex Tan

...and I also suggest The Black Hole (1979), Tron (1982), Tron: Legacy (2010), Armageddon (1998), Dinosaur (2000), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), Treasure Planet (2002), and Tomorrowland (2015). #MoreDisneySciFiForAddieCounts

There is only 1 of these I haven't seen (I will get round to watching HTTYD I swear) But I feel any of these could win and there wouldn't (shouldn't) be many complaints.

Rich

If you're interested in another Arnold movie True Lies is a good option

LightsCameraJake

Addie, Have you seen Iron Giant? Also Big Hero 6 is a Marvel Movie 😉 Not MCU of course but it's Marvel

Byrd N. Hand

"WALL-E" is definitely one of Pixar's absolute best, alongside the first 3 "Toy Story" movies, "The Incredibles," "Inside Out," and "Coco."

Joseph Mendoza

All of these are solid! John carter is so underrated.

BUDROVE

You need to watch all of these. Seriously.

Richard Maurer

Big Hero 6 is the best movie in this poll - imo

Bryan Fritchie

I went with Big Hero 6, just because I figured it would lose. They're all great movies.

Addie Counts

I haven't seen Iron Giant! I'll have to add that to another animated poll in the future!

Mannygogou

oh these are all good, they're very different from each other in subject and style. Although different from each other I'd give it a three-way-tie between How to Train Your Dragon + WALL-E + Big Hero 6

Mannygogou

Most people wouldn't say this was an MCU movie.

Mannygogou

Addie, if you watch Japanese animated movies I'd recommend YOUR NAME (2016). It's a movie you'd appreciate 🙂

Billy Dancel

Anything that gets over 2% should be watched and reacted to. You’ve got enough time before the next big series, Ahsoka comes.

Alex Tan

I know, right. Most of Disney's sci-fi movies, under their own name, are VERY underrated.

Alex Tan

Me too, Addie. I even own both Incredibles movies on Blu-ray. My dad & I saw Incredibles 2 in the theater, back in June 2018, and went on the IncrediCoaster at Disney California Adventure, twice, back in September 2021.

DMB

If you pick Wall-E it will be the first time I rewatch it. It was the first movie to make me cry in a movie theatre and I never wanted to watch it again T-T

How about a couple older classics like The Lion King or Aladdin perhaps...?... or The Simpsons Movie 🤣 there's also Toy Story and Shrek...

Alex Tan

I'm pretty sure that she has seen all of the Toy Story & Shrek movies as well as The Lion King & Aladdin outside the channel. I would love to see her watch Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001), Treasure Planet (2002), and The Simpsons Movie (2007)

Alex Tan

Speaking of Denzel Washington, I also suggest Cry Freedom (1987), Glory (1989), Crimson Tide (1995), Courage Under Fire (1996), The Siege (1998), The Bone Collector (1999), The Hurricane (1999), Remember The Titans (2000), Training Day (2001), Out Of Time (2003), Man on Fire (2004), The Manchurian Candidate (2004), Inside Man (2006), The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009), Unstoppable (2010), Safe House (2012), Flight (2012), 2 Guns (2013), The Equalizer (2014), The Equalizer 2 (2018), The Equalizer 3 (2023, upcoming), The Magnificent Seven (2016), Fences (2016), Roman J.
