I didn't expect our last animated poll to be as popular as it was, so let's do this again! (Plus I need something lighthearted after Se7en hahaha) Help me decide what to watch next!

Tom W.

I'd give them all a pass.

Mauricio Dorantes

I voted for Big Hero 6 even though it has some not-so-lighthearted moments. Definitely a must-watch, though.

Patrick Egan

How is Iron Giant not running away with this one?

Alex Tan

Happy Thursday, Addie. All are great but my vote goes for Big Hero 6 (2014).

Fawks

Iron Giant is an actual film. But by all means rev up those dreamworks smirks.

Tony Sanson

Right? I mean, the rest if them are good but Iron Giant tops them for me

Bryan Fritchie

I haven't seen Puss n Boots, but you can't go wrong with any of the others.

Bryan Fritchie

You mean people have different tastes? Huh.

Alex Tan

Hear, hear. I would love to see that in a future Disney poll with The Black Cauldron (1985), Dinosaur (2000), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) & Treasure Planet (2002), should it not win.

Phil Stubblefield

When the question is “animated movies,” the answer used to be Disney. Unfortunately, the last Disney film that I really enjoyed was The Lion King, way back in 1994. After that came the golden age of Pixar: the Toy Story movies, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and, of course, The Incredibles, which is probably the last animated movie that I *really* enjoyed. I haven't seen much that's come out since Toy Story 3 in 2010, but everything that I have seen has left me a little or a lot underwhelmed. I'm perfectly willing to be proven wrong! Of course, I'm betting that Addie has already seen all of the movies I mentioned above, so I realize that I'm not helping here... 😏

Cole Jennett

It’s good to have a palate cleanser. Smart!

aarswft

...what?

Randee Carreno

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 All great choices for this poll. "Kung Fu Panda" got my vote. Have a great day today! 😊

DMB

I'm surprised Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon are winning. They are all good (haven't seen Puss in Boots) but I feel like as an adult you would get more out of Iron Giant and Big Hero 6. Maybe it's what a lot of people grew up with?

DazzMetalStorm

I'm going to assume most of you are in your 40s/50. Which explains your demographic.

Mr. Writhms

Thanks for adding "The Iron Giant" to the poll. 😁👌

FearTheTREMOR

Kinda bummed How To Train Your Dragon is winning, only because Kung Fu Panda is the better trilogy (fight me 😅) but then again it's a good starting point to get into the wonderful DreamWorks catalog cause they have some heavy hitters. Super happy this poll is a thing 😄

James Fling

These are all great movies Addie, I hope you wind up watching them all eventually! That being said , How to Train Your Dragon has to be my top pick.

Jesse Shadows

The Iron Giant is an extremely Underrated movie!!!

MotoDork

The Iron Giant is the best of this list

2026-09-06 15:00 I feel like the normal reactor progression is HTTYD, then everybody says if you liked that check out KungFu Panda. And then everybody says now you need to see Big Hero 6 because it's HTTYD but techy. And then they go back and watch the other 4 Dragon & Panda movies...

Addie, to help save you on movie decisions I suggest watching the top 3 from these polls. It's what my other Patreon's do and it works. You can't go wrong with Iron Giant. It's a great movie that will move you not unlike Wall-E did. Thanks for all that you do.

Httyd is my favorite animated movie. Plus, the soundtrack is amazing.
