It's almost time for our June Q&A! Ask a question, any question!

Alex Tan

Hi Addie, how are you today? How's Jeremy & Ollie doing? In your December Q&A, you did mention that you and Jeremy started dating in the summer. Did you and him do anything special for your anniversary this year? What romantic meal would he cook for you? Has he been in any of the stage productions that you were in? How would you compare your recent vacation to Universal Studios Florida to your previous one, were there any newer rides that you enjoyed this time that you didn't get to go on last time? What is your favorite aspect ratio for movies in general? 1.85:1 (full screen, flat), 2:1 (univisium, middle ground) or 2.4:1 (widescreen, letterboxed scope)? Link: https://www.filmeditingpro.com/a-history-of-aspect-ratio-in-film/ I've figured out the two things that scare you, horror movies & snakes. Of those two, which one is your worst fear, are there any specific reasons why, was it from a bad experience or was it lifelong, and have you gotten better at it? In your last Q&A, you mentioned that your main worry about starting a P.O. box was that you would open up something that's snake-related. Are you open to getting them screened if you were to start one? It'll be a great precaution to prevent anything snake-related from scaring you. Is there a certain time frame between submitting Q&A questions before you record the Q&A video? When a movie is suggested to you on YouTube or Patreon, do you immediately add it to your reccomendation list? Will you react to the director's cut of Troy (2004), with Brad Pitt & Orlando Bloom?

Aside from pineapple, what are your other favorite pizza toppings? Is Jeremy a fan of pineapple on pizza? Has he taken the PS Weekly What Should I Watch? quiz? If so, what kind of movie lover is he? Which film genre do you want to see movie studios make more of and which one would you like to see them make less of? In your reaction to Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), I noticed a new wall in your office that replaced the "Good Vibes" neon sign. Is it still there? In your April Q&A, you did mention a pink light bulb from your earlier reactions from your old apartment bedroom. Is it now in your office? Since you mentioned the ingredients of your perfect Addie-made sandwich, in your September Q&A, can we get the full recipe for it? Original concept films or franchise films? T-shirts or sweaters? Jeans, leggings or jeggings? Nike or Adidas? Sneakers or boots? Have you heard: All of the Indiana Jones movies are now on Disney+? Speaking of Indiana Jones, will you react to Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023), when it comes out on Disney+? Have you also heard: There's a sequel to Gladiator (2000) in the works? Speaking of Russell Crowe, who was in Gladiator (2000), I have two movie suggestions for you: A Beautiful Mind (2001) & Cinderella Man (2005), both directed by Ron Howard. Will you react to both of them? Would you like to check out Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse film series in the future?

Did you know that portions of The Shining (1980) was shot on an Arriflex 35BL film camera that was mounted on a Steadicam rig? That explains why those shots of Danny on his tricycle creeped you out. Link: https://theasc.com/articles/steadicam-shining-revisited Did you know that there is a feature on Disney+ called IMAX Enhanced? This is why several of the later MCU movies have switching aspect ratios, which were retained from their theatrical releases in the IMAX format. (The Marvel Cinematic Universe in IMAX Enhanced | DTS Craft Masters Link: https://youtu.be/KdwE9grs1_4) How would you rank all of the movies that you've watched for the channel that were directed by Steven Spielberg? So far, you've seen Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Jurassic Park (1993), Schindler's List (1993), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998) & Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). Speaking of Schindler's List (1993), where does that movie rank with the other Best Picture Oscar-winning movies that you've seen? How would you compare the sadness level of Schindler's List (1993) to The Green Mile (1999), and more importantly, which one made you cry the hardest? In you November Q&A, you did mention that after you finished recording your reaction to The Green Mile (1999), you talked about the movie to Jeremy. Did the same happen after Schindler's List (1993)? How would you decompress after watching a very sad movie that made you cry or a very suspenseful thriller movie that had you on edge? Do you walk Ollie, drink some hot tea, or watch a light-hearted movie that you normally wouldn't watch for the channel?

Alex Tan

Have you seen the new live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid (2023), yet? If so, what did you think of it? My girlfriend & I saw it in Dolby Cinema and we both enjoyed it. Speaking of The Little Mermaid, what was your favorite song from the original and (if you have already seen it in theaters) the new movie? Oh no! You've been triple-dog dared to face your worst fears. Would you rather watch a snake scene in a movie, rewatch The Shining (1980) or rewatch Se7en (1995)? If you went on a police investigation, who would you like to go with? Axel Foley, Billy Rosewood & John Taggart from Beverly Hills Cop, John McClane & Zeus Carver from Die Hard with a Vengeance, William Somerset & David Mills from Se7en or Lee & Carter from Rush Hour? Favorite song by Miley Cyrus? Hannah Montana is also included. Favorite song from Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010)? In the beginning of your reaction to Happy Gilmore (1996), you did mention that Uncut Gems (2019) was not the style of an Adam Sandler movie that you normally like, whatsoever. Were there any aspects of that movie that really had you on edge? Speaking of Happy Gilmore (1996), how would you rank your most hated villains in that movie? The villains are Shooter McGavin, the orderly (Hal L.) from the Silver Acres resting home and the heckler, hired by Shooter, who kept calling Happy a "jacka**". Since you mentioned, in your very first Q&A last year, that you weren't satisfied with the editing style of your earlier reactions to E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Ghostbusters (1984), Beetlejuice (1988) & Edward Scissorhands (1990), and that the original files for those were deleted, in your October Q&A, are you open to doing rewatch reactions to all of them? It would be very beneficial to your newer subscribers.

DazzMetalStorm

Would you like to do a live QandA stream in the future?

ElDoritos97

Maybe you have already been asked this many times 😅 but: How has making video reactions to movies and series impacted your life? Do people recognize you and ask you for selfies or something? How does it feel to know that you have already reached almost a worldwide audience? I'm from Chile 🇨🇱 in South-America. Greetings and have a good day. ✌️😊

Chip MC

Are you open to exploring the films of Quentin Tarantino?

Ezra

Hey Addie, do you think you will watch Star Wars the Clone Wars (movie and show)? And Star Wars Rebels at any point? Just asking because those shows are very important to see if you plan on watching the new Star Wars: Ahsoka series that comes out in August.

Alex Tan

I know, right.

Aaron Taft

My Favorite Musical was Nominated for the 1999 Academy Awards for Best Original Song. It has great songs like “Blame Canada”, and “What Would Brian Boitano Do?” Would you be interested in Reacting to it?

Chip MC

You mentioned before that “Parasite” had at one point been on your radar but you felt it might be too intense. You’ve now seen “Se7en”, which is a lot scarier/intense/gruesome… any chance of a “Parasite” reaction or maybe even a foreign film poll?

Alex Tan

That movie, she can watch on her own because it would get copyrighted if she watched it for the channel.

Mathias

With the 4th of July coming up, would you be interested in doing a poll, or watching movies like the Independence day movies (there are 2) or the Patriot?

Mathias

If you had to, would you rather fight a chicken every time you get in your car, or have an orangutan ambush you once a year?

Andre Agog

Now that the second part of Villeneuve's Dune is out, have you thought of watching that? Or perhaps even the 1984 David Lynch version?

Alex Tan

Dune: Part Two (2023) is coming out in November. Dune: Part One (2021) is now on Max. For Addie: Denis Villeneuve's name is pronounced duh·nee vil·nuv.

Alex Tan

Speaking of Roland Emmerich, who directed Independence Day (1996) & The Patriot (2000), will you also react to Universal Soldier (1992), Stargate (1994), Godzilla (1998), The Day After Tomorrow (2004), 10,000 BC (2008), 2012 (2009), White House Down (2013), Midway (2019) and Moonfall (2022)?

Lilian Y.

Three questions: You mentioned you played Stardew Valley in an old Q&A, do you have a partner in it? (btw I think it would be really fun if you streamed it). Have you watched the Final Destination series before? If not, you should definitely consider reacting to it, if it's not too scary for you. Also, how are you with blood and gore?

Billy Dancel

Welcome back from your vacation. 63K followers and counting!!! Like always, you select which ?’s you care to answer. Happy to hear your replies as always. Here we go… In Spectre… What did you think C (for Max) stood for? Is there a story behind your Sleepyhead shirt? When Jeremy helps you edit, do you give him notes for what you want kept in? I hope you and Ollie are doing well! Take care 😊

Mr. Writhms

What made you choose the background music that plays during the count-down screen before each reaction? Making music is a hobby of mine (thus my account name) and details about music always interests me.

Luis Fernandez

Do you have any interest in martial arts movies? There are some great older films (such as Seven Samurai, Enter the Dragon, Five Deadly Venoms) and also some good newer films (such as Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior, The Legend of Drunken Master, 13 Assassins) that you might enjoy.

DazzMetalStorm

How familiar are you with Ben Affleck and would you want to try out some his movies? Such as The Town (2010), Argo, and Gone Girl. Armageddon is also great. He has a new movie called Air which has Matt Damon and Chris Tucker.

DazzMetalStorm

In addition to the martial arts question above. Would you be interested in checking out The Karate Kid movies in future?

Rich

It's available now

Alex Tan

Speaking of Ben Affleck, will you react to Pearl Harbor (2001), produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Michael Bay, the filmmakers of Armageddon (1998)?

DazzMetalStorm

X-Men Questions Which Xavier is your favourite? Patrick Stewart or James McAvoy. Which Magneto is your favourite? Ian Mckellen or Michael Fassbender

A.J. Workman

Will you be watching Andor at some point in the Star Wars journey? It’s the best of all the tv series in my opinion

Baconsaber

I'm relatively new, but I've watched quite a bit. Do you watch any sports movies? The Replacements, Remember the Titans, etc?

Fawks

I know you try to stay away from committing to long TV series and it may not even be your cup of tea but have you ever considered reacting to the objectively greatest series of all time Breaking Bad? You could always czech out the first episode and if it doesn't completely suck you in, drop it. Apologies if this has been asked before.

EddsHedz

Would you consider reacting to the 2 Kick-Ass movies?

Sean Ellingham

What's the weirdest question you've been asked? You don't need to provide the answer to it

EddsHedz

Would you ever react to the Defenders franchise?

Pendragon1951

I'm new here today but isn't having a watch along format more tedious for the patron to do because having to synch up with you, instead of simply watching you and the movie like you normally would do on your youtube channel with the obvious difference it's full length??

Zachary Huneycutt

Hi, Addie! Proud to be one of your new patrons! I am a Christian fiction writer and writer in every capacity: I write poems, short stories, plays, and am currently working on a book trilogy. I write science fiction for a magazine but also write Christian themed poems, things about good and evil, horror, fantasy, romance, etc. From watching your videos, I know you like to read. So, my special question for you is this: "Will you be a reader of mine over the computer?" I sent you a private message in your Patreon messages that explains in much more detail how to access my work and who I am. When you get a chance, please read my message and get back to me at your convenience. Thank you so much, Addie. :) Looking forward to more fun reactions and eagerly awaiting your response.

May i ask, how far up your list is "Arcane" by now? It's the best Show I ever saw 😍 (and I saw a lot) and cannot wait for you to react to it. 😃🙋🏻‍♂️
