Have you watched LotR since your first reaction? If you have, how was your reactions, feeling?

Happy Thursday, Addie! 😊 Thank you for another wonderful Q&A video for the month. Have a great day today! 😊

Thank you Addie. Looking forward to Oct 😘

Thanks for answering my question about raunchy movies. You mentioned that seeing Tom Hanks in a comedy would be interesting. Well, comedy was his start. Comedy movies were his whole 80s career, starting with “Splash” in 1984 (a Ron Howard film). Hanks didn’t get into dramatic roles until 1993 when he played in “Philadelphia” with Denzel Washington. He won an Oscar for it and played dramatic roles ever since. So we have the Oscars to blame for ruining Tom Hanks’ comedy career! Haha-- His role in the raunchy comedy “Bachelor Party” (1984) is hilarious and there is nothing offensive if you can handle the sexual humor.

Happy Thursday, Addie. Thank you so much for answering my Q&A questions. The unanswered ones will be reworked for future Q&As, including next months.

Here are my thoughts on some things in this Q&A. 1. My girlfriend & I DID see Barbie (2023) in theaters, although she saw it eight days later, after I did. We both liked it fine but we felt that the ending was weird. Because of this, when looking back on the Barbenheimer trend, she & I would definitely prefer Oppenheimer (2023). 2. I asked the question about School of Rock (2003) because there was popular demand for that movie after you watched Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). I did warn those who suggested it about your hesitancy regarding musical movies for your channel. 3. Disney's Haunted Mansion (2023) DID come out in theaters and was NOT a straight to Disney+ release. It opened in theaters on Friday July 28. My girlfriend & I saw that movie in Dolby Cinema on opening night on Thursday July 27 and we both enjoyed it. Again, it comes out on Disney+ on October 4. 4. This is more of a detail that I noticed. You did wear your pink sweater with flowers in your September Q&A from last year, although you added the "A" necklace this time. 5. (A follow-up of the first statement) If Barbie (2023) made you laugh and cry, then Oppenheimer (2023) will have you ON-EDGE. 6. The Scream film series isn't that scary at all. Sure Ghostface's appearance can be somewhat terrifying, given that you were (potentially) traumatized by the blood pump Ghostface mask when you were younger, but the meta references, that the movies themselves make fun of, are the nightmare retardant because the main characters in all six movies usually have to follow the rules of surviving horror movies in order to survive and in each one, EVERYONE is a suspect. That's what makes them comedic. BTW, if you EVER watch Scream (1996), I do hope the cold open in the YT cut is that of you screaming bloody murder, before saying "👋 Heyy it's Addie and today we're watching Scream.", unless you wanna use that as a jump scare at the end of it.

I'll give a short list of recs you might consider for your spooky-season polls. Psycho (1960), An American Werewolf in London (1981): You'll find these scary but not too scary. If there was a "scariness Scoville" scale, I'd put them at a similar level as Jaws, which you did well with. Plus these are classics. Halloween (1978): Scariest that I'll recommend. You may be a bit uncomfortable while watching this one, but it still isn't too bad. And it... ahem... has Halloween written all over it. Trick 'r Treat (2007): Another Halloween-centric movie. This is a collection of short stories. None are too scary, but I find them all pretty entertaining.

It's funny that your description of birds being rude involved the terms catty and catcalling. The answer is cats lol, they're moody already, if they could talk they'd say such cutting things to you.

Btw, regarding Tom Hanks in a comedy, in the 80s he strictly did comedies and you might enjoy quite a few of them, to be his best 80s comedy is The 'burbs.

7. The Rock (1996)? YES PLEASE! This is one of the Michael Bay movies that I've been pushing for you to watch for your channel. Kudos to Cassie & Carly from Popcorn In Bed for watching this movie. 8. When I mentioned mundane jump scares, I meant stuff like the fireworks in Fellowship (2001), Will Turner hammering a hot blade in Black Pearl (2003), Clarice Starling firing a gun at the shooting range in The Silence of the Lambs (1991) and the start of the end credits of Remember the Titans (2000). Those were moments that were unintentional jump scares to you. 9. I'm from Atlanta, Georgia and it's a two hour drive from Chattanooga, Tennessee. 10. For me, the moment Jeremy grabbed your shoulder during the ending of Jurassic Park (1993) will ALWAYS be the best jump scare that happened to you, in the WHOLE history of your channel, because (like I said before in the Patreon comments of your last Q&A) you WEREN'T expecting that. 11. Wonka (2023) with Timothée Chalamet IS happening. It's produced by David Heyman, who did the Harry Potter & Fantastic Beasts film series and Barbie (2023). My girlfriend is excited to see this movie in December and this is a musical movie that you can watch with Jeremy, when it comes out in theaters and NOT for the channel. 12. Booty Sweat was the energy drink while Bust-A-Nut was the energy bar. 13. The "26% more" question was based on an IMAX question that was asked to the cast of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) and Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018).

Cats aren't moody. Sometimes they just don't feel like interacting with us lower life forms ;p

Alex Tan

Kudos to them too.

Funny that you said, “heckling” I grew up with an old cartoon called Heckle and Jeckle and they were two Magpies. They behaved like their names implied. Present day Addie could tell the starting Addie that you will be proud of your success and progress. A tap dancing egg. That had to have been pretty eggciting! I’m pretty sure you were eggcellent! Okay, I’ll stop. The only thing I can say about La Bamba is RICHIEEEEEEE!!! Casper has my vote. Pier 39 in San Francisco is a blast. I’ve been there more times after I moved away from California than when I lived there Tracy, Ca. a little over an hour away. Thank you for sharing your answers with us. I of course hope to see Ollie for the next AMA. Take care of yourself, Addie!!

ONE MORE!!! So Addie?!? How do you feel about Christmas Movies?!? Say Hallmark ones? :)
