Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989). I plan on watching this movie soon. BTW, I always noticed that whenever you watch any MGM movie, you often had to turn down the volume because Leo's roars can be loud.

Aldo Gonzales

This movie was briefly referenced by Rhodey in Endgame.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. So happy that you got the chance to watch this one. This is one of my top favorite Keanu Reeves movies. Definitely looking forward to this reaction later this evening. I highly recommend the two sequels "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey(1991) and "Bill & Ted Face the Music"(2020). And another great Keanu Reeves movie that I very highly recommend is the 1989 "Parenthood". Have a great day today & a great weekend! 😊

Since Oppenheimer (2023) is coming in second place on your Christopher Nolan poll, do you plan on watching that movie as well?

This movie has single handedly the best theme song made for a film. "In Time" by Robbie Robb was THE song played at my best friends wedding as the bride walked down the isle. (Goosebumps)

SAN DIMAS HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!!

The second movie is a lot cornier, but just as much fun, even more in some ways. I read somewhere that this movie was meant to be a vehicle for Alex Winter, but Keanu Reeves stole all the scenes. Nothing against Alex Winter, he was and is great, but you just cannot top Keanu.

The Three Most Important People are Martha Davis (lead singer of The Motels), Fee Waybill (lead singer of The Tubes) and Clarence Clemons (sax player for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band).

George Carlin as Rufus will never not be a great choice for this film xD

Cliff Adams

I second the suggestion of "Parenthood" -- Most excellent choice!

Bill W

I thought this movie was hilarious when I was 14. That is all.

Billy Dancel

“Don’t be dead, Ted!” 😂 You nailed the “Whoa!” That was most excellent!!

Patrick Egan

I can’t wait to watch this with you when I get home from vacation! I like this one a lot, but I like the second one even more :)

So, you say you like shows about traveling through time and space in a little box... Heh, kidding... too many seasons.

How did Ted get out of the armor so fast? It was plot armor.

I didn't realize until I actually paid attention to the opening credits, but Joan (Ms, of Arc) was played by Jane Wiedlin, then rhythm guitarist of the Go-Gos.

Sammy Ekker

George Carlin (Rufus) was an amazing comedian. I would highly suggest watching his standup about airlines and flying.

John A

If you want some more of Keanu's lighter side watch The Replacements! One of my favorite sports movies and a comedy. Hardball is another good movie of his you would probably like

Doug

Late tangent here but I thought this was fun, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter (aka Bill and Ted) just this week opened up on Broadway with their performance of Waiting For Godot. 😊
