We're starting Echo today! Here's the full length reaction to Episode 1 ("Chafa"). I appreciated how this episode reminded us of what happened with Maya in Hawkeye while also filling in some other moments in her life. Enjoy!

Happy Friday, Addie. It's time to echo your way through Echo, the first Marvel TV show with a TV-MA rating and the first under the Marvel Spotlight banner.

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 Glad that you're watching this show. I ended up binging in one day when it first came out. Looking forward to revisiting it again with you. I liked how this first started with a young Maya up until after the events of "Hawkeye".

Episode 1 is good, having now watched the whole series I'd put it as one of the better episodes. 🙂 Overall I think the show is decent, Maya as a character has potential and I like most of her supporting characters (Biscuits' ride or die attitude and the Grandfather's sassiness probably being my favorites throughout) but it did feel like it could use a little more polish if they do a second season. The plot has some odd holes here and there later on and some of the action sequences outside of this first episode are a little more hit and miss. But I think if they ever do a second season and can smooth out those rough edges this could be a pretty solid show. And of course, as far as this particular episode goes, any fight scene with Daredevil and any appearance of D'Onofrio as Fisk makes everything better. 😄

a) Adult Bonnie is played by Devery Jacobs, who played Kahhori in What If? b) Somewhat related to this show because of the DD appearance: The Netflix shows have all been added to the "Timeline Order" list, which folks have been taking to mean that they are now officially MCU canon.

I hope this is good, here we go wish me luck!

Strong start! I got a little spoiler from a reaction thumbnail this morning but kinda forgot since it’s been a while. On to the next.
