Happy Birthday, Addie! 🥳🥳🎉🎉🎊🎊 Here are my questions for March: Did you & Jeremy do anything special for your birthday? (This question was originally written for your last Q&A) For the next Addie taste test, how about some Japanese snack foods? Strawberry Pocky vs strawberry Yan Yan vs strawberry Hello Panda. What is your favorite aspect ratio of the current Sony/Columbia Pictures logo? Flat (1.85:1): https://youtu.be/D6QLzln_yIo?feature=shared or Scope (2.39:1): https://youtu.be/Vk3JAq9yXzE?feature=shared Are you still open to starting a P.O. box or are you still worried about the possibility of opening up something that's snake related? In your October 2022 Q&A, you did the Colbert Questionnaire and one of the questions was related to action movies. Are there any *action movies that you've watched for the channel and are there any that have been suggested to you? *Action movies as in straight pure action movies with guns, car chases and explosions. If so, will you react to them? Where does Oppenheimer (2023) rank with all of the Oscar-winning Best Picture movies that you've watched so far? If I were to direct you in a rom-com, who would play your love interest? What did you think of the 2024 musical movie adaptation of Mean Girls, how does it compare to the 2004 original & the 2018 Broadway adaptation and what's your favorite song from the musical (as in the Broadway adaptation and the musical movie)? What did you & Jeremy think of Free Guy (2021) with Ryan Reynolds? My girlfriend & I saw it in IMAX and we both enjoyed it. What were some of the scariest movies that you watched since The Shining (1980) & Alien (1979)? Did you know that National Treasure (2004) was shot in Super 35 format by Zooey Deschanel's father, Caleb? Has Jeremy figured out his lunar animal and zodiac sign? Will you react to Johnny Mnemonic (1995) with Keanu Reeves & Dolph Lundgren? Will you react to The Great Wall (2016) with Matt Damon & Pedro Pascal? Will you react to The Replacement Killers (1998) with Chow Yun-Fat & Mira Sorvino? Will you react to Tears of the Sun (2003) with Bruce Willis? Will you react to the 2000 Extended Director's Cut of The Exorcist (1973) for Halloween? Will you react to Sicario (2015) and its sequel, Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018), both with Benicio Del Toro & Josh Brolin? They're intense and brutal crime action thrillers. Now that you've seen Top Gun (1986) & Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), will you react to more Tony Scott movies (including The Hunger (1983), Revenge (1990), Days of Thunder (1990), The Last Boy Scout (1991), True Romance (1993), Crimson Tide (1995), The Fan (1996), Enemy of the State (1998), Spy Game (2001), Man on Fire (2004), Domino (2005), Déjà Vu (2006), The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009) and Unstoppable (2010))?

Alex Tan

The "Oh No!" scenario: Oh No! You've been shipped to military school. Would you rather endure a military obstacle course and get covered in mud all over yourself (including your face and your camouflaged uniform) or participate in the drill team and perform routines with plastic rifles along with some pretty cool dance moves, like in Cadet Kelly (2002)?

David Davidson

Happy birthday, you're a GODDESS 😍👑 I wrote you a message, can you please answer me? I just had a suggestion in your benefit 😊 please, you lose nothing just to hear me out, please 😊🙏🙏

Have a Happy Birthday!!! Question: Is there a work of fiction or a fictional character with whom you identify strongly? It can be current, or it can even be something from childhood that's stuck with you. The kind of thing where when you watch/read/listen, you're like, "That's SO me!"

Happy birthday to my favorite comfort reactor out there! It was cool seeing you on the Poppies! Cheers to you Addie 🍻 My question is, maybe this has been asked in the past but if you could travel out of country for a week on vacation, where would you go? And if you could do any adrenaline related activity what would it be? Happy birthday again Addie! 🫡❤️

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! In that spirit, out of curiosity have you seen or what did you think of some movies involving birthdays - Falling Down (1993 with Michael Douglas) - The Game (1997 with Michael Douglas… his characters had a couple of unfortunate birthdays apparently!) - Sixteen Candles (1984 with Molly Ringwald) - City Slickers (1991 with Billy Crystal) - The Omen (1976 with Gregory Peck. Worst birthday party ever!) - The Birds (1963 Hitchcock film with Tipi Hedren. … not a great birthday party here either. 🤷‍♂️) - Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (It all starts with Bilbo’s 111th birthday bash!)

Happy Birthday 😺Addie!!!😺 Wishing you thee Best! So - in Rocky 2 you've noticed that 'you felt more emotional watching it a second time' so I was wondering have you watched LotR or any other shows a 2nd time yet?!?

Billy Dancel

Happy, Happy Birthday, May all of your dreams come true, We wish it was our Birthday, So we can party too! HEY! Perfect timing for this month’s AMA. If anyone has already asked this then go ahead and skip. What was it like to be an award presenter for The Poppies? Have you watched it before this year? Will you watch it next year? Coming up to 85K subscribers. Do you have any special plans for 100K? It’ll be here before you know it so might as well start planning. For the final question, What do you think of Pawsoka? (read my last private message for this question) Take care of yourself, ADD-E☺️

BubblyRainbows

Happy birthday to you, Addie!! I can't think of a question to ask right now, but I still wanted to pass along some birthday wishes. Maybe I'll come back later with an actual question.

Mr. Writhms

Happy Birthday, Addie! [sings "Happy Birthday" in perfect pitch and without copyright infringement]

You deserve a feel good movie on your birthday. Try the movie with the longest title in the world, "The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain". It has Hugh Grant. Either that or "Fly Away Home", with a very young Anna Paquin.

OhSoAtomos

A very happy birthday to one of the top reaction channels I watch. Thank you for all that you do Addie

Zachary Huneycutt

I had a busy day yesterday, but I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday! Going to be busy today, so I'll send you a link for the Q&A in your messages soon when I have some time. It's nice to have you in the world, Addie.

Eric Koman

Happy birthday 🎂🥳, I hope you had a fantastic day celebrating your special day!! Saw that you finished Band of Brothers this week, any plans on watching the new “Masters of Air” series on Apple TV +? It’s produced by the same people that did Band of Brothers, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks to name a few. Have a great rest of your day. Thanks for being so awesome! 😊 A fan from 🇨🇦

Thomas Wetherell

First of all happy birthday Addie, I hope you had a wonderful day! Secondly, would you be interested in watching Super 8? It’s a really fun sci-fi movie that gets slept on a lot, if I had to describe it I’d say it’s like a cross between E.T. and Stranger Things.

Thomas Wetherell

Would you be interested in watching Midway (2019) and or Zulu (1964)? They are two quite different war films but are still among my favorites. Both have star studded casts and do a lot of justice to the real battles they portray.

Alex Tan

Now that you've seen Airplane! (1980), will you react to more Jerry Zucker movies (including Ghost (1990) with Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg & First Knight (1995) with Sean Connery, Richard Gere and Julia Ormond)?

Alex Tan

Will you react to Silverado (1985)? It's an 80's Western that's shot in Super Techniscope (Super 35). Will you react to The Magnificent Seven (2016) with Denzel Washington & Chris Pratt? Speaking of Denzel Washington, will you react to The Equalizer trilogy?

Alex Tan

Will you react to the Extended Edition of Cowboys & Aliens (2011) with Daniel Craig & Harrison Ford? It's a sci-fi Western that's directed by Jon Favreau, the director of Iron Man (2008). Speaking of Daniel Craig, in your reaction to Glass Onion (2022), you did mention that you saw Knives Out (2019) in theaters, three times. What did you think of the movie and during which viewing were you becoming more invested with the story and the characters? My girlfriend & I also saw it in theaters as well and we both enjoyed it. Will you react to Legends of the Fall (1994) with Brad Pitt & Anthony Hopkins?

Luis Fernandez

Do you have strong opinions about the possible future use of AI in movies? For instance, the replacing of actors, writers, etc.?

Luis Fernandez

For this month's recommendations, I'll do a bit of meandering. You just watched O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), which had John Goodman. John Goodman was also in Fallen (1998), which I recommend. Fallen also had Donald Sutherland, who was also in A Time to Kill (1996), which I recommend. A Time to Kill also had Samuel L Jackson, who was also in The Red Violin (1998), which I recommend. The Red Violin also had Jason Flemyng, who was also in Clash of the Titans (2010). This one I do not recommend (it was awful), but I do recommend Clash of the Titans (1981).

Alex Tan

That'll also work as a pallette cleanse after watching Ghost (1990) & First Knight (1995).

LightsCameraJake

I have a reaction setup related question. A couple friends and myself are inspired by reaction content and especially 2 of us watch your YouTube regularly, and we have been wondering what your OBS recording process is like? and if you can take us through your steps on getting a reaction ready to go! Do you record your movies during your reaction or is there some way you download them? Thanks for all you do Addie!

Alex Tan

TWO OTHER HOT TAKE QUESTIONS: Do you have any strong opinions on whether or not Hollywood has become "infantilized" with its emphasis on animation, musicals, and particularly fantasy or comic book-based blockbuster films and franchises? There was a debate about this subject that took place at the end of 2019. And do you also have any strong opinions regarding the use of forced diversity in Hollywood? Forced diversity as in depictions of diversity and inclusion being inserted in movies and shows without a creatively honest reason for it as well as changing certain elements to fit within modern social ideals.

Alex Tan

Have you seen Anyone But You (2023)? If so, what did you think of it and what did Jeremy think of it? My girlfriend & I saw it in theaters and we both enjoyed it. In the movie, Glen Powell's character Ben's serenity song is Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield. What is your serenity song? Speaking of Glen Powell, now that you've seen Twister (1996), will you react to Twisters (2024) with Daisy Edgar-Jones & Glen Powell, when it comes out on streaming? My girlfriend & I plan on seeing the upcoming new movie in IMAX, when it comes out in theaters in July.

Alex Tan

Alex Tan

I think she watched Anyone But You (2023) on her own. That's why I asked. I'm pretty sure we'll get a reaction to True Grit (2010) tomorrow. Maybe she'll watch Anyone But You as a surprise Patreon exclusive reaction today.

Alex Tan

Let's see what happens.

Alex Tan

Since you felt stressed out after watching Twister (1996), would you like to watch more lighthearted movies after watching intense movies that had you on edge?

LightsCameraJake

My issue isn't just forced diversity. It's injecting modern politics and identity politics into a film where that wouldn't make sense. Like what they did with the new lord of the rings tv show on Amazon. Hollywood took the lore and and the story that was already written and changed it to fit modern social ideals In world where it wouldn't make sense just for the sake of "Representation"

Carlo Glingani

Happy Birthday Addie! Congrats for all your reactions, i really love your channel! Have you ever been in Europe? if yes, wich countries you visited?

Meow meow

Happy birthday btw. Just got here, but it is still March, so it still counts. So um question. Would you ever consider watching classic screwball comedies? I ask, as the writing was exponentially better, but the B&W filming would probably turn off most people. But I think your reactions would be genuinely entertaining. (Specifically His Girl Friday and Bringing Up Baby as two *absolutely must see* examples of the best comedy ever filmed).

HeyHeyJK

Have you ever considered doing a reaction based on a list like the top 100 best films of all time and watch them in order from oldest to newest? It's great way to see some great films and the progression of scripts, acting, directing, etc. Since so many of those are way before the 2000's, you'll find some real gems especially in the 70's which is where many of the greatest films ever made came out).
