And this is how the books end - the 5th, and so far last book of the series was called "A Dance with Dragons", and it came out in 2011, 12 years ago!!! - WTF George!!! LOL

BTW, it seemed to me that Colt was playing the role of Drogon in this episode. Misbehaving and not listening to his mother. 😂😂😂

Well, by now, the show IS canon. George RR Martin gave the show runners a list of "bullet points of major events" that were supposed to happen in the story, so the show writers followed those and filled in the gaps. Many fans feel Season 6 is one of the best seasons of the show, so I will dare say those writers did a pretty good job! 🙂

On the Oldtown matter, they switched the roles of Sam and Jon. Orginally it was Jon who wanted Sam and Gilly to go to Oldtown with the son of mance rayder(he had a pregnant wife in the books) He also wanted Gilly to take only Mances son instead of her own son. It was because Melisandre wanted to burn the baby.

and so it was that out of spite Jorah Mormont pushed his hand to Daarios face and infected him with greyscale... 😂
