It's here!! The final Taskmaster episode of Season 1, and what an ending! It seems like only 5 episodes ago I was just getting started... For real though, this has been such a great ride, and even though I'm looking forward to Season 2, I'm seriously going to miss this crew :)

Here is the unedited, full-length version of my reaction to Episode 6, and I would love it if you watched along with me. Definitely be sure to let me know your thoughts about It if you do. I've provided the unblurred version up top via Streamable (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the blurred YouTube version can be found here: https://youtu.be/WE-sLzye4ys. For those watching the YouTube version, remember that you'll need your own copy of the episode to sync up (I found them free on YouTube, fyi).

Thanks as always for your incredible support, and I hope you have a great rest of the day/night!

-David

I get sad after every end to the season but always, even when I have no idea who anyone is, I love the next group just as much. I think there is only one person through all the seasons I never warmed up to. Everyone else was golden.

Michael Nolan

Hooray for you! You have taken your first steps into a larger world. (Although, like many Merkins, I see you have trouble understanding what the world calls "English") The various international versions have assistants of variable quality, the one with the energy most similar to Alex Horne is Paul Williams in the NZ version. The casts in every season of TM are great, I look forward to you getting to know them all!

I love that you're into TM now – it's the best. And yay, series 2 next! Slowly but surely getting closer to S11.... just kidding haha, but I do love S11. It's all uphill from here though :D Well, vaguely downhill at one point, but mostly uphill! By the way, I love that you don't skip the credits and that you're watching the YouTube version. The censoring's a little annoying, but the other versions cut out the commercial breaks and those bits get better and better.

I'm very curious who you didn't warm to 🤔 was it Iain by any chance?

Actually I liked Iain. It was Paul Chowdhry. He's a brilliant man. I just couldn't warm to him.

Caroline

Always sad when it ends😭 Season 7 is the best imo.. the cast are just brilliant together x

I liked Iain too! Just see a lot of hate for him haha. I liked Paul personally, but never warmed to Al.

I think to me it just seemed maybe Paul didn't want to be there but I don't know if that was just his stage personality or anything. Jo was like that but I had seen her in things and knew that was her whole thing.

I'm looking forward to 5 and 7 (which I hope he gets to!) I also love 11, but 5 is a realistic goal for me to wish for 🤞

5 and 7 are excellent! I'm also looking forward to S4 for the loveliness that is Mel Giedroyc (and Lolly).

Oh good!!! Historically I tend to ALWAYS pick the "wrong" versions of things, so woohoo! And I love how you say, "..getting closer to S11..." lol. Like paying off my car: "Only 29 more payments to go.." lol

@Becky Casey .. Oh I'm in it to win it baby! lol.. Even if people stopped watching on YouTube and I had to bow out from putting the edited versions there, by God I will finish on Patreon

Hi Caroline! I love that everyone has their favorite seasons :) Speaks to the variety of the show and the casts. I'm loving this so far, even just after the first season ;)
