Looks like we are all set for the Taskmaster Season 5 LIVE watchalong tomorrow at 2:30pm Central Time (8:30pm for UK). I will be recording this reaction for YouTube, so I won't be interacting during the reaction, but I will have a post-episode discussion with anyone who wants to chat it up.

This will be on Discord and available to all tiers so that we can view it together in a watch party format. I've provided the link here:

https://discord.gg/BH9yanPY?event=1324906017762316330

You should be able to click right on through with this link, but let me know if you have any issues. If you have not used Discord before, don't worry! It can look a little confusing at first, but I'm happy to help if you have any problems getting in.

Thanks so much as always for your support, and I hope that you can join! It's going to be fun!! *And don't worry GoT fans: Marc and I are watching the finale episodes this weekend, and we will be planning a LIVE STREAM to discuss the show with you soon afterwards. So stay tuned for that!

It says the link is invalid. Will it only become valid at the time of streaming?

Daniel Rotello

Are you still watching the third season of Heartstopper?

Lee-anne

I'm excited! Seeyou there!

Same, and I dunno, but I can see the event in Discord so I can confirm that the id in the link David pasted above is the same as the event id in Discord, so that checks out. I suspect the link will work when the events starts, but if you hop on the discord, you'll see "Events" in the left navigation. If you aren't already on the discord you might want to sort that out in advance in case you run into issues (but if you use the same email for both Discord and Patreon, it should "just work")

Yes sir! Holidays and movies just threw me off. I never realized how much better it was when they released Spring/Summer rather than October for scheduling haha. But I'm still gonna be watching it, and I'm planning to start the YouTube edits in a week or so :)

Thank you Becky and Fizzbuzz!! Yeah, we'll keep an eye on it as it gets closer, but I definitely agree with Fizzbuzz to go ahead and make sure you have Discord access first. If you don't, there should be a direct link via Patreon, but let me know if you don't see it :)

I'm already a member of the Discord :) I was just making sure for people that aren't!

I don't think I'll be able to watch, but I hope you all have a great time. And I wish everyone a Happy 2025!

Thank YOU!! Yeah, I had a great time too and I'm glad you were able to make it. We should do it again, right?
