'SUP Awesome Patrons! Finally, the flashback episode I hoped for but was to scared to expect has arrived. Episode 6 The Price (aka Ode to Joel) was just as heartbreaking and retroactively traumatizing as I imagined. Regardless of where the finale goes from here, I was happy to shed one last tear for good ol' Joel and mourn his loss for good.

I've provided the unblurred version of my reaction to Episode 6 up top (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the muted, watchalong version can be found here: https://youtu.be/bbXWfHctxS0. (Keep in mind those of you opting for the watch along version that you will need your own copy of the episode to sync up.)

Thanks as always for your incredible support, and I hope you have a great rest of the day/night!

Finally had time to watch this! In the game, all these moments are spread throughout the entire game. I'm kinda sad they put them all in one episode, because it means no more Pedro lol. I understand why they did it though from a storytelling perspective. Joe Pantoliano had so little screen time, but man he KILLED that role as Eugene!!! Everyone always likes to say "you don't know that they could make a cure", but that's not the point. Like Tess said in season 1, it doesn't matter whether they can or can't, if they believe that they can. Joel believed a cure could be made, and yet he still made the decision he made. Also did you notice that Joel's watch turned out to be his dad's?

Hellllooooooooooo friend!!! That is a really great point you make about the cure. Very true, very true. And I'm so glad you said that about Joe Pantoliano. "I need her last words... for ME!!" chills. What do I remember him from?? I know I know him, but I can't quite place it. I am going to miss Pedro :( Watching the finale either tonight or tomorrow.
