'SUP Awesome Patrons! What are y'alls thoughts for a 4th of July movie to watch? It could be patriotic, of course, but also just something like a Summer blockbuster popcorn movie. Give me some ideas, if you don't mind, and then I'll ask you guys to vote on it :)

How about these to consider if you haven't seen them already: Jaws (1975), Independence Day (1996), The Purge (2013), I know What You Did Last Summer (1997). They're 4th of July blockbuster movies 😊

Born on the Fourth of July is a classic. Summer blockbuster vibes I second Independence Day, also The Mummy, and an underrated comedy for me is Shanghai Noon with Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan.

David vs. Film

All great ideas, but THANK YOU for Shanghai Noon! I have not gotten that suggestion yet, and I totally forgot about that movie. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen any Jackie Chan movies. Maybe I'll think of one and be like, "Oh sh*t, that's right.." but as I'm sitting here, no.

David vs. Film

Oh yes!! Here's a little channel trivia for you... There's only been one movie that we reacted to but never posted, and that was Top Gun. Marc did not like it AT ALL haha. I think I maybe edited 10 minutes of footage, and his face looked like he was 67th in line at Marshall's the entire time. I don't know if it was an off night, or he just wasn't feeling the movie or what, but I pivoted away from Maverick as a result. So long story short (too late), I would LOVE it if this movie wins the poll, but I can promise you that it will be a David-only reaction if it does haha
