'SUP Awesome Patrons! It's here it's here! Series 7! I feel like I have been consistently hearing the praises of this season since Day One of starting Taskmaster. I realize this is a favorite of MANY of you, so I expect to hear all kinds of trivia: who is your favorite, which are your favorite scenes- all of it!

I've provided the full version of my reaction with the original content and commentary up top (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the muted, watchalong version can be found here: https://youtu.be/MM3M04mo_0g. (Keep in mind those of you opting for the watch along version will need your own copy of the episode to sync up.)

Thank you so much for your continued incredible support, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day!

-David

David, you know I love your reactions and everything you have to say. But i have to give you a little warning for this season. NOT a spoiler... Just know that this cast is SUPER quick with come backs. So you did miss 4 comments or jokes this episode that give context either for that task or for future episodes. I only know that more of those moments are coming because this entire season I have watched over 20 times. Trust me, more of those moments are coming and I want you to be able to catch them and laugh even harder than you did. You know I love you my man, so this is NOT intended to be yelling or taken as being upset. Just trying to more prepare you for even more laughs and quick witted moments. I've been one of your biggest supporters when you feel like people want you to talk less. React and talk but just be prepared for many more laughs that come at you quick. This is THE season of all seasons and it will end WAAAAYYYY too quickly! You are the best and I love how much you did enjoy episode 1! More shenanigans to come, each episode!! ❤️❤️

Should check out Rhod Gilbert on WILTY, that man is insane.

Haha I hear ya Geoff. Very diplomatically said ;) I'll try to jump in more during tasks when they're working, etc, and less during the theater portions. I'm sure I'll find my rhythm!

I’m sure others have replied since as you’ve watched on and I’m new here. I guess it’s hard on a live stream to pause and react compared to a normal reaction but as others have said, you could easily miss things like the hat joke. Not a negative thing but us tm nerds are all about the detail 🤣 All contestants have to wear the exact same outfit during the taskmaster house, location and team tasks for consistency. In s1 Tim key had the tracksuit, in s5 Aisling had the Irish tracksuit, in s6 Tim was the safari guy. As the series goes on, you’ll find more and more contestants have elaborate task outfits - it becomes a thing! Rhod and Greg met on a standup comedy course nearly 30 years ago and have been very close friends ever since. There’s a really sweet documentary about rhod’s cancer journey and Greg features in it. You might recognise Kerry from Ricky gervais’s afterlife show - she played his wife. Not sure if you’ve seen. Love how at the s7 point you’re so onto Alex’s behaviours and the order they show clips. You’re a true tm-er now!
