Wednesday?...it's Monday isn't it? My weekend wasn't fun enough to lose the next 2 days lol. Should be releasing these on Wednesday and call it Wednesday squared. I'm done now lol

This was amazing, such a fun introduction to the show, this is the first patreon tv show we are watching together !! Guess if you keep guessing you will get something right, its what got me through school hahaha, yea the visuals are really good! I cant wait for the rest of the show.

Lol, I hear ya on losing the days. You know I had the exact same thought about putting it out on Weds?? I also thought that this is kind of a bad decision on titling because if people just search "Wednesday" looking for your show, it's gonna be a lot more difficult to find given the generic nature of the title.

Even down to the Danny Elfman score, it's got so much going for it! And it's a fun mixture of so many things: Addams Family tropes, Hogwarts, traces of Daria, Tim Burton aesthetic, etc., etc. Ortega is amazing. She masters the deadpan delivery but is capable of subtle shifts in expression to indicate when something is actually affecting her. I'm curious about one thing. Especially in her first scene, Weems looks like the spitting image of Tippi Hedren in The Birds. Intentional or coincidental? This was a blast, David. Can't wait for more.

David, I’m watching this right along with you…wife already watched it…so I’m drinking and watching it with you. My only complaint is I have always been secretly in-love with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Douglas…sans the Douglas. Cheers, my friend…waiting for episode 2!

Couldn't agree more! And holy crap you are right about Weems/Tippi Hedren! The hair and the style of clothes especially. Maybe coincidental like you said, but also maybe that IS somewhat of an Easter egg nod to Hitchcock by Tim Burton.

The first episode was good. I like all the main characters and I think I know who the killer in the woods is. My wife has already watched every episode and she’s more than happy to be watching it again.

I am loving this show! Loved Christina Ricci's Wednesday as well! Totally unrelated, whenever someone says 'Wednesday', my brain immediately thinks of part of a sketch from "A Bit of Fry & Laurie". In the sketch, a character played by Stephen Fry asks Hugh Laurie's character when is his son's birthday and Hugh's character says 'Wednesday' and Stephen's character goes 'yes, when's the day?' and Hugh's character says 'Wednesday'. So every time someone says 'Wednesday', my brain just goes 'yes, when's the day?' 🤣🤣🤣
