WHAT'S UP AWESOME PATRONS?? What can I say.. once again you guys nailed it with a Mel Brooks recommendation. Marc and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed Robin Hood: Men in Tights! The humor, the music, the costumes and sets- all were exactly what we've now come to expect from this comedic master.

I am still working on the thumbnail, but I wanted to get this to you ASAP before it goes up on YouTube later today. Check out the reaction, let us know what you think, and also let us know any parts of the film that are your personal favorites.

Can't wait to watch after work. Cary Elwes is always a treat. I love when he appears in episodes of Psych.

Happy you guys enjoyed this one, I always have as well. The Disney Robin Hood was a staple watch on repeat for me as a kid, as was the 1938 Adventures of Robin Hood starting the OG GOAT action movie star of talking pictures Errol Flynn. I also loved the 1991 Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Not so much for it’s star Kevin Costner, but for the legendary Alan Rickman. This was the first movie I took notice of Alan Rickman, I was only 7 when Die Hard came out 😆 I was a little older when I first saw RH:POT and it was “celebrity crush” at first sight for me, RIP Mr. Rickman 😔 if you guys get the chance, give Robin Hood:Prince of Theives from 1991 a watch. Quite a few of the jokes in this spin on Robin Hood were “inspired” from that version, plus you get to see a young Alan Rickman doing what he did best, being awesome, and totally stealing every scene he was in and even some he wasn’t 😜

Also, I am so happy David finally said that Cary Elwes was in Princess Bride. I kept screaming, that’s Westley, not just the bad guy from Twister 😆😆😆 A watch of Princess Bride needs to happen if Marc is unfamiliar 😜 You guys are always so much fun to watch!!!

Aww thank you!!!! And you nailed it there at the end of your comment- Marc has not seen Princess Bride, so I knew that reference would mean nothing to him. He's seen Twister, but clearly that reference didn't mean anything to him either lol. "As you wish."

Haha thank you, Angela!! I may wear it to dinner tonight just to see the faces of those who get it (and more importantly, those who don't lol)

I had no idea about this!!! I remember him from other things of course (none of which Marc has seen, hence the Twister only reference lol), but I did not know he'd ventured into television with Psych. That's cool.

Thank you so much for the info on PoT!!! It will probably be one of our "Saturday night while I'm editing my @ss off and Marc is just eating ice cream" movies. 😁 I never saw the Errol Flynn version, though I'm aware of it, but Disney's Robin Hood was on repeat for me as a kid as well!! I LOVED it.

He guess stars a few times as an international art theif. Think Wesly mixed with Indiana Jones. If you haven't seen Psych I definitely recommend. It's a guy pretending to be psychic and helping police solve cases.

Jennifer Redmond

This is one of my favorite goofy movies, this and young Frankenstein
