What’s up, Awesome Patrons?? Young Royals Season 2 came in like a lion and is going out like the whole zoo! Not a moment was wasted in any of this season's episodes, and I can already tell that Season 3 is going to have some big shoes to fill. The second season had only six installments, so Marc and I will be resuming Game of Thrones next week!

I am working on the combined YouTube edit for this episode and Episode 5 right now, but in the meantime feel free to hang out and watch the full episodes with me. :)

thank you SO MUCH for reacting to young royals. i'm glad you stuck with it and enjoyed it - it's been an absolute pleasure to watch you react to this series. the last episode of season 2 was absolutely brilliant in my opinion. the shooting range scene, the meeting in the hallway between simon and wille and the speech. it's an agonizing wait for season 3.. so sad that it'll be over for good. going to miss this awesome cast! totally agree with you that we got ripped off with a 40 min finale. it's kind of frustrating that both seasons had only 6 episodes and i assume that season 3 will be the same. to the writers / showrunners credit though, they packed a lot into those 12 episodes! it's so brilliantly written and having watched the whole series multiple times, there's a stack of things that you pick up each time. i enjoy watching reactions for that reason - as often people point out vital details which i missed myself. the show has so many hidden easter eggs and parallels. thank you for being funny, emotional and just enjoyable to watch. i really like your "old anne hathaway" comments and how you loved anette. simons mum is also such a treasure. its funny how you made mention of willes dad in the final episode and how he's never around.. then he showed up. he's so oblivious haha. id really love to see in season 3 simon spending some time with wille's family and vice versa (even simons dad - as he's never mentioned him to wille as far as we know). i think it's wishful thinking though as we all know this show seldom gives us what we want. i'll be interested to see the consequences of saras call; i have a feeling that'll be one of the defining moments to start the season as there'll be some conflict between simon and wille i'm sure. you mentioned the queen and you not having a problem with her.. id never really considered her character neutrally before. i'd always disliked her because of the issues it caused with wille and simon. the only thing i dont like about her (though i realise its her role to make the tough decisions) is that she doesn't communicate or inform wille of issues which affect him. if she'd not been so combative when he rang her about august (him uploading the vid and him being the backup) i feel like they might have had a better relationship. sorry for writing a novel. cant wait to watch season 3 with you when it's out and thanks again!!

thank YOU so much!!! as far as "writing a novel", it's the indication that you are a thoughtful person :) You see how much I talk, and my writing is about the same, so no judgments here! one thing about the episode needing to be longer- I still stand by what I said, BUT with one caveat now that I've seen all the episodes, especially the finale.. the only way I don't begrudge a regular-sized finale is if the content would have suffered by just "filling time". Episode 6 was so perfect and so well done, so I guess I'm glad that they just told the story and didn't try to stretch it out into an hour and a half- even if I selfishly would have just wanted to see more of everyone :) Poor Daddy Duke Oblivious.. looking back, I kind of feel like they intentionally wrote him so absentee or vanilla because they wanted all the focus on the Queen and Wille. But I was glad to see his goofy ass once again lol. The Queen is a complicated character for me, because Lord knows I sure judge other characters without much regard for the reasons of why they do what they do, so I get that it's kind of hypocritical for me to defend any of the Queen's behavior. And you are 100% right about her not being more upfront with Wille about things that will affect him- so true!! Thanks so much for all your kind words about the reactions and for supporting here on Patreon!! This is EXACTLY why I love watching movies and tv in this way- to have great conversations with fellow tv/movie lovers :)
