Oooooooh it is time, it is TIME! Spooky Season is FINALLY here, and even though it's still 94º outside, you best believe I'm in full-on pumpkin spice mode! If you saw the update to YouTube today, you know that Marc and I have Covid. We're both still feeling pretty ok, but we're just going to play it by ear and see how things go the next few days. I really hope that we still get to do the Livestream on Sunday and that videos aren't delayed, but I'll let you know as things progress.

In the meantime, we have DEATH BECOMES HER to enjoy! I've provided the unblurred version up top via Streamable (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the blurred YouTube version can be found here: https://youtu.be/scsLORjBT10. For those watching the YouTube version, remember that you'll need your own copy to sync up.

Thanks as always for your incredible support, and I hope you have a great rest of the day/night!

The character actress is Mary Ellen Trainor who unfortunately passed away several years ago. She was married to director Robert Zemeckis during the 80s and 90s. You are right that she was in everything during the 80s. The first thing I remember seeing her in was Romancing the Stone as Kathleen Turner's sister (I can hear her saying "Joanie? They'll cut me. They'll hurt me." while emoting a bit). She was the mom in The Goonies and Monster Squad. She was the psychiatrist in the Lethal Weapon movies. I think she was also one of the reporters in Die Hard. Sad loss.

Yes!!! Thank you so much. I didn't remember her being married to Robert Zemeckis, so that's cool to learn. What I was remembering was that she was close friends with the producer Kathleen Kennedy. She introduced Kennedy and Steven Spielberg, who went on to make a lot of movies together.

I would have loved to sit in on a meeting or dinner with the Amblin Entertainment producers and directors during the 80s/90s. Those are some icons who made history right there. And now Kathleen Kennedy is the president of Lucasflim when she started out as a director's assistant. Unbelievable.

Also, when you mentioned Sydney Pollack playing the doctor it made me think that you guys need to react to Tootsie for the channel, which Pollack directed and played Dustin Hoffman's agent in. Love that movie! I used to have Mr. Mom and Tootsie recorded on the same Betamax tape as a little girl. It was hilarious realizing how many jokes I didn't understand until I grew up, like Teri Garr saying, "My date left with someone else. I had fun. Do you have any Seconal?"
