Button up those eyes- it's time to watch CORALINE! I didn't know what to expect going into Coraline, but it ended up being a delightfully dark, weird movie with amazing animation. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm starting work on the YouTube edit now, but in the meantime, here is the full-length reaction if you'd like to watch along with me! I've provided the unblurred version up top via Streamable (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the blurred YouTube version can be found here: https://youtu.be/eKXURV6dQDM. For those watching the YouTube version, remember that you'll need your own copy to sync up.

Thanks as always for your incredible support, and I hope you have a great rest of the day/night!

This movie right here! I knew it was Tim Burton and was excited to watch this when it first came out. My parents thought it would be a great idea to bring my baby sisters who must've been 7 and 5 at the time. Man...they could not sleep for what seemed like an entire week after watching this one 😂

Hahaha uh YEAH, I bet! I love these kinds of movies now, but I wouldn't have been able to sleep either if I'd seen this at 7 or 5! And afterwards if I was acting up, all my mom would have to do is leave a button on the counter, and I'd be the perfect kid for a week. (Effective parenting movie) 😁

My kids looove this movie! Such a cool, dark whimsical vibe. I asked one of my daughters if she wanted to meet her other mother and she said, “No thanks, I’m good.” lol

Your reaction to Coraline is SO amazing. Just about to indulge with the full reaction. Found your reactions thru searching many, many, (ok I watch them all 😂), Coraline reactions. One of my, if not my absolute favorite movie, due to all the love LAIKA Studios put into it. Neil Gaiman, a legend obviously. You're obvi spot on about Teri. My mother who recently passed, worked with Teri Hatcher & James Denton on Desperate Housewives. I will say this, as much as a pistol as she could/can be, when mother was on the set & becoming noticeably ill, Teri was on the spot to get her water or a place to sit. She in short did a ton to keep her comfortable. So it was this unique perspective where I DEFINITELY saw her being difficult to others, yet she was wonderful to my own mother. Also, remember you asking about a haunted house with Coraline elements. They actually are doing that now. I think they have an items that are on constant loan but also do a dedicated Halloween setup. They've also been releasing limited high quality plushes. I NEED the cat one! Masterfully portrayed in the other world by Keith David. Hoping it returns to theaters this Halloween in 3D. So excited it's one of the few stop mo's shot that way. Thank you so much for this fun experience. And I'm now knee deep in your others, all wonderful in every way!

Sorry that's such a brief novella o text. Still learning what format Patreon prefers.

David vs. Film

Haha hey- no judgment here.. I STILL don't know what format Patreon prefers half the time lol. THANK YOU so much for what you wrote :) I LOVED Coraline, and thinking of that reaction makes me realize that it's already been almost 6 months since Halloween season. I can't believe that! (but it also means that we're halfway back to it, so glass half-full, right??). I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you. It was a bright spot to hear that she was a part of Desperate Housewives, though; that is one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE shows! I loved it when it was on in real time, and I still watch reruns. In fact, DH has one of my absolute best-loved passages regarding loss that I come back to when I lose someone close. It's the episode where McCluskey recites part of the poem Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep when she and Lynnette are about to spread Ida's ashes. Makes me cry like a baby every time, but it's a very poignant moment and passage. I am SO GLAD that you are here on Patreon!! I absolutely love the community of awesome people that we have here, and I'm happy you're part of it now :)
