IT'S ALIVE!!! Here is our full reaction to Young Frankenstein! The Mel Brooks classic take on horror is the perfect way to end our Spooks + Booooze not-so-scary reaction series for this Halloween season.

Everyone loves this movie. You’re right, Igor is the best part of the film. TRIVIA TIME!! All of the equipment they used in the laboratory is actually the SAME Equipment used in the original Frankenstein with Boris Karloff. Terri Garr’s mother has worked in the costume department for years and she worked on this film. Terri always came to visit her mother. When they were Trying to cast Inga, they didn’t find anyone right for the part. Terri’s mother Said why don’t you use Terri? They tested and she got it. I’m glad you noticed The shadow work in the film. Way back when, they didn’t have special effects So they used a lot of shadowing as a great effect. They did the same on this film. May I suggest you look up an old song, “Pennsylvania-6 5000” (1940) by Glenn Miller. I guess if you’re not of a certain age, you would miss the joke.
