Super Update 24.04.2019. (redesign, new features) (Patreon)

It's finally ready(ish). The new look for PlayTracker has just been released, and it is just the beginning. Let's get to it.

Dark mode - the PlayTracker design has now switched to a darker style easier on the eyes, white still maintaining the colorfulness and readability of the old design

Less cluttered - the new design is built to accommodate the new features PlayTracker has added over the past year and is ready for future features as well

Faster and smoother - there are a bunch of features under the hood working to make the new site faster as well as smoother and unnecessary code has been removed to make the site leaner

Even better on mobile - navigation on mobile is now via a more accessible bottom bar and the entirety of PlayTracker is now a progressive web app which means it can be downloaded and used as an app on any modern Android device

Less Google -  Google Analytics and Google Fonts have been removed, improving speed and privacy for all users

Revamped library - now all cards have a unified size, perfect games stand out more, and unnecessary information has been cut

Revamped stats page - the achievements over time graph is now more informative and there is a new XP breakdown by platform graph

Fixed Recently Played sorting for Steam games

Fixed various Quest related issues

Fixed manual verification misbehaving

Fixed Origin games not appearing in library when sorting by engagement

Moved mystery gifts from the dashboard to the main quest page

As we move forward this new design will be further honed and the cleaned up code will allow new features to be added at a faster pace.

The roadmap I posted recently still stands - in the near-future you can expect an update to the dashboard and profile syncing systems to make them easier to use, an update focusing on new profile customization options, an update to bring the new design to Quest, and an update bringing new features to Insight.

Stay tuned!
