Oh snap! Sonic/Soniq really let him have it. I’m not sure if this is because the game that’s being demonstrated is too similar to the “Sonic” games, but with a different coat of paint, or maybe they’re upset by how their former life has been taken over by some other character who’s not even close to being as great. Either way, it’s not like the tanned blue blur would lie or be silent. The frustration must’ve really caught up to them.

Maybe she's just repeating all the reasons the suits told her those games sucked and why her change was necessary...all of which have been unaltered.

I didn’t think of it that way. I might’ve missed that part a little earlier in the comic. I guess in this case, it’s a cruel irony, which means that Sonic/Soniq is firing Shaga’s words back at them as a way to expose their hypocrisy.
