Its definitely episode of the year. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL EPISODE of the entire series. I bawled my eyes out just like everyone else when i first watched this episode. Normally when you cry in this show, its because of sad things that happen, but this episode, it was tears of happiness and joy. The strawhats literally went from declaring war on the world government just to rescue/take back Robin. All the way to crying tears of happiness for Robin and Saul's reunion.

tbh that whole sequince at the start would have landed so much harder if at some point we saw luffys hand reach out to her and we got that iconic scene "SAY YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!" before her meeting with saul. to prove his words, that she would meet peope that will love her for who she is.

Amazing episode, but "Robin is best girl" is a stretch for me. A good episode doesn't automatically make someone the best female character in the series. That's your opinion, not a fact, I think another female character has earned that title far more than Robin has.

Robin is the most popular female One Piece character for over 20 years. That IS a fact, and not just my opinion. She didn't became "best girl" in episode 1163, she's the best ever since the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc.
