Hey guys sorry this took so long to get up, I my doctor appointment took longer than expected

Ohara

this episode was 11/10. sooo good. 🔥

Skebaba

Yes, the Trials are literally made entirely out of their memories being used as Data, so the starting voicelines essentially have to be in the person's voice, since that's where the data for it is pieced together from. Also literally 3 adults bullied a kid ay LMAO. Subaru is 17, Ram is 18 and Otto is 20, vs a (almost) 14 y/o Garfiel

jac jacob israel

To be honest I'm turning 20 but I'll call all my homies just to deal with the now almost 14 yrs old garf And I will not regret a thing cause I'll say it was for self defence.

Jaerek

Also, that shattering moment with Shamac was Subaru's magic gate finally breaking after being abused for too long. Victory came at the price of Subaru never being able to use magic anymore. Garf is talking about seeing the writings Subaru left in the wall for Emilia :)

Desto Samuels

This is kind of a spoiler bro. It wasn't explained in the episode

Ryuuji Gremory

Felix told us that he needs to rest his gate for 2 month or he will get trouble, he was in pain when he used Shamac against Elsa and now we literally see it shattering and Subaru thanking it as a farewell.

Godstinct

ive never been so jealous of a lap pillow in my life. subaru you lucky mfer

gruntmaster1

I am surprised that you didn't have much of a reaction to "witch's daughter", but I guess it is not that surprising of a reveal.

D Reed

@suke this is the only time I actually don’t think so, I feel like it was foreshadowed that Subaru was going to fuck himself on this one

D Reed

Hope you are feeling well and all is good

The way this show has been adapted things always end up being subversion during the episode. In this there was nice subversion making you think that something completely different happened with his witch authority and a new power came out. Subaru even talks about his power and names it like he will use it again. So you saying that he is sacrificing not being able to use magic again is indeed a spoiler. I don't think anyone who has not read the LN thought of this. These are visual film making tools that have been implemented to misdirect audience on purpose.

Jaerek

It was just an insult hurled at her by Echidna to tick her off lol

Jaerek

Suke No, it literally shows the audience the magic gate we've seen in Arc 2 shattering and Subaru thanking it. We've also had him repeatedly warned not to use magic again every single arc. There's no "misdirection", it's as direct and on the nose as it could get.
