Man I can't wait til next episode. Petelgeuse was a good man, but yeah him turning crazy was not his fault. If you remember when Emilia cried back in season 1 when she killed one of Petelgeuse's fingers during the attack on the village, she cried. At the time I thought she was just crying because she didn't want to kill, but we know now part of her remembered him, even if not fully. Also Petelgeuse is pronounced like "Petal Juice". Like Betelgeuse, the star.

2026-10-08 22:00 I felt the same way. Very tragic what happens to him later. Also, is it just me, or are they purposely omitting the current timeline and the ages of the characters, like Fortuna for example. Was it ever addressed that the elves, or half elves don’t age the same as humans? As in they live longer years? I can’t remember if that was ever stated. All of this is obviously happening many years after the events that occurred “400 years ago” as previously mentioned by a few characters in the first half of season 2. I remember Emilia said she was frozen in ice for a very long time. Is it too far-fetched to say that maybe she was frozen for decades? I’m not sure how that would work with Guese, knowing his fate. Perhaps a light novel reader can enlighten me? If it involves too much spoilers, then It’s better not to say. I just feel like this was hinted before. Could be completely wrong.

Emilia talks about it with Subaru during their first meeting in the very first loop, when Subaru says talks about how she doesn't seem like she could be so much older then him (to warrant treating him like he is soo much younger) she says that that assessment wont be reliable since she is an half elf.

Emilia and Fortuna's whole promise things adds a new layer to Emilia's anger with everyone for breaking promises, depending on how this goes down it seems like maybe one of her last interactions with Mother Fortuna was being told how important a promise is.
