One thing that really stood out to me in this episode: Kiku must have had one serious growth spurt between the end of this episode and the time jump 10 years later, because she grew A LOT taller.

Tevin Logan

Man oden's backstory just gets better and better each episode

johnel

I'm not sure yet with the new VA for Whitebeard. I think it passes but ill know for sure when he laughs GURARARARA hahahaha.

Kamui

The thing is we already saw some of the "important" Rocks members already. Shiki in the movie, Captain John in Thriller Bark (corpse). I assume most of them are either dead or not active anymore (except Big Mom and Kaido).

wonder777warrior

you look amazing. flower is a nice touch. cant wait to come back to more OP goodness with your reactions and others.

johnny reefer

that black haired marco was the anime not knowing who he was at the time so they just did anything with his design.

John tran

the one with glasses. Looks like Zoro sword master right? The samurai with Oden. Looks so similar.

Jcw490

One piece has been 🔥 this whole year

Jcw490

RIP kinryu arimoto

Mike Drop

Luckily it fits with him being a lot younger in the flashback

Satorian

Just thought I'd point out: all of the scabbards are younger than Oden. Ashura Douji is in his mid-teens when he fights Oden, the same age as Kin'emon actually. Also, Oden arrives in the Flower Capital riding on the grown-up baby boar from last episode.

GS

So Big mom was actually good looking at one point in time? I thought she always had her plump figure, especially when her backstory was shown during whole cake island arc.

luis delgado

First of all happy Valentine's day, second from here on the flashback just gets more and mire wild enjoy

Dan Costa

Honestly there are plenty of people that are fat as children, get thinner/fit as an adult, and then proceed to gain weight and get fat again in their old age. Remember Big Mom is 68 lol

ChrisCharisma

The fight scene animation are on point...but other than that, i don't really get too much from the backstory, it's pretty boring tbh... and that's sad because OP was always my favorite anime and i've been watching it for 13 years now

james hyde

You need a BF bad lol so thirsty

james hyde

Cant wait for Oden to die to get out of this flaskback but whitebread showing up is gonna be fun

tobi999tomas

Well... Many users here including me already explained it, but yeah... You will have to wait for awhile. Until April to be exact. Possibly.

Jimmy Orchid

I’m more hyped for Elbaf than for Wano. I have so much theories for Elbaf. I can’t wait to see how much I got right or close to it, lol.

Andrew Dittmann

This is my favorite flashback in all of One Piece. There were a few moments during this flashback that I realized that One Piece is in the end game. Things that I never thought I would see happen happen in this flashback happen. However ever long it is going to take I cant wait. I am assuming that the next episode after this next one is going to be the moment that I have been waiting to be animated for nearly a year now.
