OVERLORD !!! Season 2 just setup a lot of behind the scenes, and showcased Sebas and the inner conflict with the humans. Season 3 is on another level.

2026-10-08 22:00 I would also rank season 2 as the lowest season as many people have. i think season 3 &gt; 1 &gt; 2 is the ranking. personally i wouldn't mind if you put overlord on hold too watch mushoku tensei, because its my 2nd favorite isekai atm with overlord being my 3rd favorite lol

Yeah S2 took a different direction. It kinda felt like a build up season I feel like s3 might have the payoff but idk that is how I viewed s2

I definitely recommend the light novels over the anime. If you have time for it, reading the novels up until this point would probably help answer a lot of questions.

The Monk vs Monk "fight" was truly beautiful Also, as you may have noticed, Evileye is a Vampire (she has the same eyes as Shalltear does, and when her mask broke at one point, from one of the angles, you could see a tiny bit of fang from her, too)
