I honestly don't see how they couldn't do a season 2 since there's enough they still have to go through that's from the manga unless they plan on just skipping everything else left.

To be honest, I think its one of those times where the anime is made to drum up attention to the manga. From what I've read, they've already skipped a lot of content, which could easily have made it into a longer show for sure. Take Yuki Yoshikawa, at the start of the show, when she sees Izumi jump the fence, not knowing who he is, there's a whole plot there with her getting a cruch on him etc., that isn't in the anime. Also, in the end, so far, the anime has covered 9 volumes of the manga its adapting, episode 13 probably chewing well into volume 10. That doesn't really leave much room for a 2nd season, since that means there's only 5 volumes left.

Yea I agree with it probably being made to hype up the manga and that's fine but like you said there was so much skipped content that I really wish they would've included. If they were not to skip a lot of content in the last 5 volumes I feel there would be enough for a season 2 but I wonder if they'll end up doing any OVA's to properly wrap it up if they don't do that in the last episode

Yeah exactly, to be honest, if they had not skipped so much content from the volumes, there would easily be enough for another season. Hell, take Kaguya-sama, 21 Manga volumes, and its not done yet. Its gotten 2 anime seasons so far, with a 3rd on the way.

Here's to hoping though HERO starts a new manga that continues with the story ( I know probably never gonna happen haha) but next week will be interesting to see how things turn out

The thing is a lot of content is filler, like the yuki crush on miya they could still do a second season with 10 or 11 episodes

To me I don't see it as normal filler like most shows because it adds more to the other characters while also moving along with the story, where as other filler tends to not add much to the overall story but that's just my opinion on it and can also see how it could be filler. I agree they could possibly do another season just with a fewer episodes just have to wait and see if they announce anything at the end of the next episode.

I wouldn't call something like the Yuki crush filler, its a side story, and this series does a lot with the side characters, showing a lot of different stories. Hell, through out the anime, they show plenty of different characters, and some of the interactions would clearly make more sense, if they had included more of the source material. But no, they can't do another season, out of just the last 5 manga volumes, when 13 episode covers 10 volumes already.

i call it a filler because that part is meant to show hori jealous but it never got to anything, also this animes tend to change the order of stories so it is possible that they can pull a second season i mean "the devil is a part timer" got a second season after 8 years so there is hope

I'll continue to hold onto hope until they confirm they won't be making season 2...and also hoping to possibly see a reaction to tonikawa soon haha
