**MESSAGE TO EVERYONE** I dropped off my computer this evening they said the screen replacement will take 3-5 days. Idk if that is accurate because online I saw it takes shorter. But we will see. I was only able to have enough time to edit this on patreon and on YT because working with my screen mirror was really difficult. So I will not have my computer for a couple of days sadly. I don't like comparing the anime and manga but I'll make an exception for this. The anime milked the end of the Kaido and Oden fight. In the manga after Kaido was cut and collapsed to the ground he didn't stand up right away. He was on the ground, injures and defenseless, when Oden came in and nearly killed him. He literally had Kaido and almost won if it wasn't for that hag. While it isn't really cheating since this is a pirate fight it is definitely a bullshit victory. And Kaido knows it too. He is prided as being invincible and unable to be defeated one-on-one so having the first person who ever bested him done in by a trick hurts his pride and his image. And considering he constantly tries to kill himself that probably also pisses him off.

People say Kaido wasn't at his peak yet since he was still young. While I agree with this it also means Oden wasn't either since they are close in age. If Oden lived he could very well have been on the level of the Yonkos. His backstory and strength from a young age certainly compares to what Big Mom was like as she grew up. The man was a beast.

Bro if you haven’t noticed the anime has been better for a while, Oda been clearly skipping things and relaying extra information to the anime team, both him and the anime studio themselves have said so. This made way more sense than the manga where it seemed like kaido purposefully took the chance to unfairly take the win. In the manga kaido did stand back up immediately after being cut so idk what you mean, literally all manga readers are taking this ep as a major W and you come with your manga elitism get outta here bruh

in the manga oden with one hit sliced kaido and when he was about to cut kaidos dragon head the old lady interfered. I dont care what anyone says oden with one hit knocked kaido down I truly think oden is stronger than kaido and big mom at that time. If you say after 20 years kaido and big mom will be stronger than so Oden will get stronger. People just forget that kaido is a pirate who knows about haki and has many battle experience. But oden doesnt have that much of experience and he still mopped the floor with kaido.

I know it was a good minute ago now, but yeah Moria mentioned a bunch in thriller bark he was in the new world his og crew got fugged up by kaido so he ran away. The confrontation being in Wano also confirms that this is the same time when he robbed Ryumas grave and got shusui.

When Oden went for the strike in the manga Kaido was still on the ground. He stood up in the moment when Oden was distracted. And while Kaido didn't have any knowledge of the trick he did take advantage of it, in both the manga and anime. That is what happens in war. It was technically the smart move but it still is a terrible way to achieve victory for Kaido. I always love the anime more than the manga and I have lived Oden's flashback in the anime particularly well. There is so much great stuff. The only thing that was really changed was making it look like Kaido had more of a chance than he actually did.

I’d recommend staying with this two episodes of One Piece at a time pace for the next four episodes. The titles for the next four episodes have been revealed and it looks like they will work better being watched together similar to what you’ve been doing recently.

Doesn't seem like something Kaido would himself actually do. Prolly the old cunt did it on her own or something, since Kaido seems to be all about "Only stronk bois in my squad, execute everyone else", and given his attempts at committing sudoku, I'm quite sure he wouldn't have wasted an opportunity to potentially get killed by a strong opponent, since even normal executions or even suicide attempts can't rly do shit to him as it is.
