If I remember correctly, what turns dragon slayers into dragons was killing hundreds of dragons. I think Zirconis even said Acnologia was soaked in dragon blood, transforming him as a result.

Yeah it’s not killing dragons that makes a dragon slayer change into a dragon. It hasn’t been explained much yet so I won’t go into detail cuz of spoilers but I can say for sure that them killing dragons is not what would change them

The resolution is better but the visuals and animation are "dull" in ft 2014 . in my opinion

Yea, they've made a special series for Mavis and her past, called Fairy Tail Zero and I hope that's not a spoiler becoz it's just another flashback-kind-of series for clear understanding of the plot. Though it's a long road ahead!💕

I wouldn't mind peoples comments about the animation/style change. Its mostly just different not necessarily better or worse. Any time things change it usually elicits a negative reaction from people. Lets be honest Fairy Tail has never been this scion of animation. Its animation has always been a little on the dull/simple side but thats not the reason we love this show. This show isn't Demon Slayer/JJK levels of animation no reason to act like it was before.

@hotyaznboi The dragon scales you see on Natsu has always been the symbol for when Natsu has tapped into the dragon force. It isn't very clearly explained because they never really explained the dragon force until the grand magic games. You also see the same thing happen when Jellal feeds Natsu the golden flames to fight against Zero.

there is a difference between animations that isn't the best to an animation that is straight up goofy and lazy. u can't defend meliodas vs escanor. also..... 7ds before season 3 was extremely good so going from that to season 3 on ward is of course going to disappoint a lot of ppl .
