Hi Jami, not sure if you’re aware but the servants are based on famous fictional characters! Hopefully this makes you appreciate the series more! Saber, for instance, is King Arthur, but is secretly a woman (because women’s rights didn’t exist back then). Gilgamesh is the “first king of earth”. He is the king of Pangaea, when all continents haven’t separated and are one!

yep that's what makes fate just all the way cooler. Series like Vinland Saga was really cool too for this reason (historical figures and events that have some resemblance to the story that's being told).

Hey Jami since assassin already mentioned his name Hassan in ep 1 at 26:08 so here is some info of the real life person of who he is based of Name Hassan-i Sabbāh or Hassan al-Sabbāh   birthplace Iran born 1050 and died 1124)  was the founder of the Nizari Isma'ili state and its fidā'i military group known as the Order of Assassins, often referred also as the Hashshashin. he has been known in the West as the Old Man of the Mountain. Hassan is known for being the founder of the term assassin

Not exactly accurate about Gilgamesh. He's the king of Uruk, in Ancient Babylon. Not the king of Pangea. That'd be way before humans evolved. But he is sometimes called the first king of Earth because his story is the oldest recorded heroic story that we know of.

have you ever watch the first season of digimon? if so then you should check out digimon tri and then the movie which wraps up the story of tai, matt and everyone else. digimon tri is basically the sequel to the first season where tai and the gang are grown up and the movie is a sequel to tri.

@Naka Also because of the mythology which mean he's 2/3 deity (his father was a demi-god IIRC, and his mother was a goddess, although I don't recall what her specific Dominion was tho), as he was specifically PLACED TO BE THE KING TO GOVERN ALL HUMANS by the gods, which is prolly where the First King thing comes from, since the gods designated him to supervise all the filthy normies crawling on the planet

Yeah so basically since Noble Phantasms are tied to the lore of each Heroic Spirit, the various assassins should be his underlings, right? As he is the founder of the Organized Assassination business, his followers/underlings would be a part of his arsenal in a sense, as they are a key part of his Legend, right?
