I'd like to point out that the wand moment with Ishigami was to explain the panel were he seemed to teleport in the manga when they could have just switched the seats for those two instead.

Well the whole 1 in 3 high school students had their first time is a callback to Season 1, where they had a confiscated magazine that had this static in it with Miyuki and Chika freaking out about it while Kaguya thought it to be completely normal, since she too thought they were talking about kissing.

There is a manga where Miyuki and Hayasaka are a couple that are married so you're not far off in terms of their feelings. But since it's the story about Kaguya and Miyuki so there's no way that they are going to explore them.

I prefer their friendship honestly. Hayasaka never had real feelings for Miyuki directly. Rather a big part of her character is that she loves romance in general. She doesn't want Miyuki himself but rather the love both he and Kaguya have. Which is why she finds their reluctance so frustrating. I love that Hayasaka and Miyuki have a platonic friendship, especially how it develops in the manga.

Equinox

I'm not talking about the main manga but the official doujin that consist of non canon side stories. There are chapters about Miyuki and Hayasaka as a couple and the rest of the cast in kindergarten including Kaguya who fully supports their relationship and one where they are living together and Miyuki wants to propose to Hayasaka. It's actually very good!
